North Korea

North Korea is fascinating because of its government. Were these videos really streamed from North Korea?

I think they were.

Any 8channers visit?

It is so eerie over there.

Yes it's easy to visit N. Korea if you go through China.

Holla Forums should go live in North Korea for a week and then come back and we'll see if they still prefer fascism to democracy.

I know it is easy to visit but would they really let you live stream?

I guess it is what is it communism or Juche more accurate?

Dubs

Winner

They let tourists take pictures and video. Also they are kind of unaware when it comes to technology. Most people there have never used the internet nor used a smartphone. To them live streaming would appear to be them just filming a home movie for their private use.

Holla Forums wants right wing fascism or National Socialism not communism. Holla Forums should go live a week there.

You might be able to take a few pictures, but they won't let you see anything that doesn't portray Best Korea in a positive light.

I thought video was actually kind of forbidden. Not openly of course, but pretty much. And if you do go as tourist, you will have an extremely guided tour with no opportunity to do anything but what they intend you to do.

Taking some stuff on picture/video might be illegal. Your guide usually tells you what you can and cannot take a picture/video of.

Sometimes I get the feeling America is just telling lies about north Korea and there is bustling country wide Internet culture and people's socialism.

Of course they are. The media here makes it seem like China and N. Korea are best friends when in actuality China just kind of tolerates N.Korea for the most part. China has told N. Korea a few times if they provoke a war China will do what is necessary to stabilize the region including a ground invasion and occupation of N. Korea

not exactly that, but they're online near the chinese border via cellphones and wifi in the foreign legations/embassies in the capital was outlawed because locals who live nearby were connecting through it.
Otherwise there's a heavily censored n.korea centric version available to the general public and limited www access for academics and the military. For parti nomenclatura, it's anyone's guess what they have access to, but spying is endemic and one false click can ruin their life.

There is never proof to any of these claims us or some other government says it and we believe it.

...

Well academics from the free world go there all the time for conferences and research work. Tourists come and go, people from all levels of society defect: we do have first hand information on life in nkr.

...

With satelites we can actually see that vast swathes of densely populated areas in North Korea have no power, or have power outages more frequently than active power.
That's the most solid non-propaganda evidence we have that North Korea actually has 3rd world tier infrastructure and living conditions.

all me

Juche is accurate. It means "communism with North Korean characteristics" which basically is advanced fascist-feudal regime.

...

North Korea isn't communist. Not like Stalin wasn't communist, they literally retconned history and removed any mention of communism from their "constitution" and are just a unique system called Juche.

Not using the sling for its intended use

Do they breed with their children in North Korea, like they do here?
