It's official.

This probably won't surprise anyone.

Google's old motto.

Google's current year motto.

Google, like every other tech giant, can smell the blood in the water and wants to consolidate their power. I knew these fucks liked it from day one, even when they came out against it for that short while. They were probably waiting for some large bribe to come in and they finally got it.

We really need to fork chrome. Even if you don't use chrome, a lot of people do. Imagine the kvetching if that de-botnetted one defaulted to blocking Google's ads.

What a surprise!

Chromium + Iridium m8

Use IceCat for normal Clearnet.
Have Palemoon/Firefox (careful) for porn in a VM.
Tor Browser for everything else.

Degenerate.

they are not even hiding it anymore
I wish normalfags would get their heads out of their assess and simply stopped using google

Remember when they shut down their search engine in protest of SOPA/PIPA? Now here that shit comes back and jewgle offers full support. How the fuck do people still trust this shit?

we shouldn't ought to 'ave trusted 'em

Why no Palemoon for clearnet also?
It's fine as long as I don't stream 5 videos at once.

Is it any use against data some cross-referrencing using two browsers?

Never used IceCat though.

No shit. Google has been snuggling up to the US government for a long time. They realized that the most important power they can wield over the internet comes from governmental support.

There's also multiple other patchsets for chromium. Most of them aee listed on the Chrom* page on the g and tech wiki.

Just wish it was easier to get addons on chromium without a Google account instead of dealing with the BS from the webstore.

Try paying attention to the world some time.

oh geeez, a multi-billion company supports a trade deal which enables them to multiply their shekels more easily while gaining substantial immunity from local country laws and entitles them to secret "bargain" courts.

A shocker!

most Chrome users would keep using Google's version

...

Who cares?

9 out of 10 websites connects to some google related service.

it's too late for you to still be up, Billy

Google supporting the TPP doesn't affect me at all. I'm still going to hide behind proxies and do everything I already do.

consider suicide

What's the most lightweight Chromium based browser that still has extension support?
