Seems like even bound delegates aren't really bound. I have someone in my family who was in the washington state convention (the on in which 40 out of 41 delegates are for cruz). A third party that is nationalist and pro-freedoms, while catering to the needs of the middle class…a hybrid of Republican and Democrat values, taking the best from each but discarding the worst.
The current power brokers would be barred from joining that party from the start, and enough voters would be pulled from the now-neocon Republican party & the now-authoritarian Democrat party that it would swamp either one.
