Have you guys seen the new Jungle Book movie? It had some stuff I think Holla Forums would be interested in.
For those who haven't seen the original, I'll recap. It's based on stories by based Rudyard Kipling. The movie is about a boy named Mowgli, a little kid raised in the jungle. Throughout the movie, he is being escorted by a panda to return back to the society of humans because he doesn't belong in the jungle. They do this while trying to avoid Shere Khan, a tiger, who viewed Mowgli to be an intruder who didn't belong and a threat to the animals in the jungle. The film ends with Mowgli returning back to a village of humans, thereby returning to his rightful home and where he belongs.
This new one is different. I am convinced the changes they made were in response to the growing right-wing sentiment on the internet and it's culture. It also had the inevitable liberal bullshit all new movies made by (((The Disney Corporation))) spits out. For example, Mowgli in both movies found himself in the jungle because he was being accompanied by his father in the jungle when his father died, leaving Mowgli stranded. In the original, all you see is a crashed boat with the baby inside. There are clear implications that his parents are dead, but you never actually see them (before or after they died). In this new one, there is a flash back where you do get to see Mowgli's father. His father is dressed in a turban and robes that is unquestionably Islamic. This is an important change, as you'll see later.
Another change is the ending. The new one has Mowgli kill Shere Khan after uniting the animals of the jungle against him. There is than narration by another character saying something along the lines of "I don't think I ever saw anything like it. This was a kid with no homeland and no background do the impossible by uniting all animals no matter who they were" (that's not exactly it, but I can't find any clips online so this is going by memory). The original had a message that all should stick with their own kinds, this new one has a message that any one can integrate into any environment, and that people who protest this are evil and deserving of death. For those wondering, no, Mowgli never does return back to the man-village in the new one. He stays in the jungle (presumably) forever.
Now, I know what you're thinking. Here's why: There's a scene in this new movie that really stood out. It's a scene that's not in the original movie or in the book. Shere Khan has taken control of the wolves den and is telling the baby wolves a story. He says, "The one you really have to watch out for is the cuckoo bird. The cuckoo puts his eggs into the nests of other birds. Then, the other mother hatches the cuckoo, and treats it as her own bird. However, the other chicks do not have enough food because their mother is taking care of the cuckoo chick. Her own chicks starve and die all because a mother loved a chick who was not her own.” As he says that last part, he turns and looks at the mother wolf who took care of Mowgli in the beginning of the movie Disney changed a movie about staying with your own kind and not straying beyond where you should be into a movie where a young Muslim comes into a foreign environment, the people who support him are called "cucks" by the bad guy, and it ends with the foreign Muslim killing the person against him and becoming king of the jungle. I really recommend Holla Forumsacks watch the original and the new one, it's an interesting change.

There's another scene that bugged me. There's a song in both the original and this movie called "I wanna be like you." In it, the king of the monkeys wants to become a human, and kidnaps Mowgli so Mowgli can teach him the secret of fire. The king believes this will make him human. The new movie changed this a bit. They made this king a giant monkey with an enormous wealth of gold and fruits. They also added a verse emphasizing his "desire" for this power. Essentially, in the original this scene reinforced the theme that you can't change who you are. The new one has a broader message of "greed." The king isn't bad because he's violating the idea that a monkey can't be a human, he's just bad because he's selfish. Pic related is also important to keep in mind.
But it's absolutely terrible. Your writing is actually far better, even if unpolished, because you know how to structure information clearly.

I actually saw this garbage and then completely forgot about it but what you said stuck with me. especially the change at the end with Mowgli never returning to the man village.
That was the entire point of the original story, it was an allegory for growing up. The kid needed to stop fucking around in the jungle and become a man. That's why Sher Khan wanted to kill him so bad, men can be dangerous and he didn't want another man around. The cartoon reinforced this idea with the girl singing by the water, part of growing up is being attracted to girls. But no, in this version Mowgli stays a man-child in arrested development. Exactly how the (((They))) want us, not men, eternal children.
I saw the original with my little cousin. Everything about it is fucking great, the animation, voice acting, every frame is perfect, all the dialog serves to move the story and reinforces the characters. It's brilliant. The good news is we'll always have the original

Of course, there aren't even any whites in the book AT ALL, so they had to write some in in order to trash them and push white "guilt."
In the original book, there were three Hindi that got their hands on a jewel-encrusted knife that Mowgli had taken from a snake guardian of a treasure, who warned him that the trasure was cursed, and the three ended up killing each other for it, so Mowgli took it back to the hoard. Other than this, the movie in 1994 had no resemblance to Kipling's story at all whatsoever, and Disney even had people writing them to rage about it.
