When anti-cheat begins, any expectation of privacy on that computer ends. Simple as that.

For example, some Source engine games/servers have an anti-cheat that not only periodically takes screenshots, but it also publishes them on some Web interface open to public. You could see screenshots from random people. A thread was here or on a similar board. I witnessed it myself.

This is just what immediately came to my mind. All this can be considered regular occurrence. If they won't do it for anti-cheat, they'll do it for data collection or something like that.
