The United Church of Canada is having to make a decision about this, as it reviews the case of one of its ministers, Greta Vosper, who is an atheist and who teaches atheism from her pulpit.

Coming back late to the thread, had work. Something else a lot of people miss about the history of the ark is how many animals were on the ark. The text in Genesis clearly says that Noah took two of every kind, not two of every animal, but two of every kind. If you actually read the text it says that once the flood waters rose everything that walked, crawled or swarmed, everything that had in the breath of life in it died, only Noah and that which was on the ark was spared.
