I left 8ch months ago because it was becoming utter shit, (primarily in content, but in other such things as well.)

What's the current state in a nutshell? Still complete horseshit?

I used to like the idea of freedom, freedom of speech, board creation, and everything Holla Forums stood for, but it has since fallen, and while 4chan may not hold these rights in hand, at least I can get content there and enjoy myself.

And it hasn't been dying from recursively fucked software either.

I tried to go to 4chan many times but is just too terrible,every thread is either a dead meme or spam.
And 8ch still give you way more freedom of speech than 4chan that is not even a comparison.
So only "memers" would want to visit 4chan those days.

It's really hard to draw the line. Some 4chan boards are still great for me, others are complete shit. 8ch may have "free speech", but it's still got shit content, and is really REALLY slow. It used to be faster (slow, but faster), which wasn't even that big of an issue because at least it had great content.

4chan's Holla Forums, as shit as it is, is better than this. At least you can get decent threads there. Honestly, 4chan's way too fast for me, having been an 8channer for a while, but what can you do.

Yeah, I've been going there a bit, and it's hard to explain. Literally 98% of the content is like pure grade A shit. But there is that 2% that when you catch it, it kind of makes it somewhat worth it.

But I really fucking hate for instance all that porn. It's just so irritating. I mean we literally have porn boards everywhere, and porn sites in general. Why do people feel the need to constantly post porn there?

On top of that, there's that one image I like which shows like 2006 Holla Forums vs. 2016 Holla Forums regarding two subjects:

Subject A: Really cute and sexy girl
Subject B: Effeminate trapboy

And it shows the responses of the people from those times to each of the two subjects.

Basically, old Holla Forums liked the women, was repulsed by the traps. 2016's has the same responses to the traps, that old Holla Forums had for the actual females. It's fucking funny. But also really sad and disgusting.
