Linux fags must understand two things:
You need to have an easy way to install program. Easy for real. Just do the equivalent of a .exe and start using it. Do not overcomplicate stuff. All your shitty excuses are shitty excuses, if your system were better people would use it, but they don't because is pig's vomit. Learn from Windows because they do it best. You get a fuckin installer, you install the program and all its dependencies from one, single, easy file.
Then there is the command line problem. Now, there is nothing wrong with having a command line, it is useful for some stuff.
The problem is that linuxfags/devfags since they have a small penis and no contact with women they need to feel smart. In order to do so they complicate shit, and a great way to complicate shit is by making people do stuff with the command line when a GUI would be much more appropriate.
If Linux were to fix this two simple things with time the popularity would rise a lot.
Sadly people who are attracted to linux are not the kind of people with normal human needs. Therefore they will try to force their shitty way of doing things instead of accepting what it is easier and more usable for most/all humans.

You can live in a fantasy world as much as you want to, but in the real life MS Office is the only real choice.
I'm not familiar with it. What I can tell you for sure is this: Excel is quite a complex piece of software and you need 100% compatibility with MS Excel, because that's what everybody uses. If you can't achieve that, there's no way to replace Excel with Calligra.
