If you see a decent art in a Marvel comic it was probably done by South Americans, or in rare cases other cheap foreign artists that Marvel likely found on tumblr.

She later kills the villain who did it by pushing him off a building, and Hawkeye and Mockingbird ended up getting divorced over the issue because at the time Hawkeye had a strict "no kill" policy.

Though some of the drama of that scene's kinda lost the actual panels were kinda funny out of context.

This, It's always fascinating to see what these people define as being a hero. They almost never about courage in the face of danger, protecting the innocent, personal sacrifice, or fighting for what's right even when you don't like/agree with it. I hate how my hero academia is being talked as if its so superior than American capes, but is mediocre and boring at best. I don't understand the appeal of this show at all. I was kind of interested at first, due to it's concept of nearly everyone becoming a superhero and the one kid who gets his superhero powers handed down to him by superman. After that it became a generic shonen manga, so I quit reading fairly quickly.

Waifus who do hero shit without any insidious agenda mostly and they can work in teams without being huge self-important shits.

It's been hard to find heroines who just do hero shit for some ten years now.

But it is. Comic books themselves are shit-tier, but you have the rest of Marvel making all the money through movies, games, and the easiest income of them all: Merch. Look at a toy catalog or a flyer from a retailer sometime.

The problem is, accounting doesn't immediately tell you -what- is shit. That's not how big-ass organizations like Disney work. If you were to look at financial statements and reports- the kind that get shunted up to the suits at top- they don't see that some comics are lagging behind. They see an overall netprofit, with perhaps a footnote of what's performing well (but not what's performing poorly- because when you're making a presentation about your branch to a higher-up, you're not going to specifically point out how you're fucking up, you're going to prop yourself up as much as you can.)

The comic books have a safety net in all the movies and merch because it skews Marvel's overall performance. Even if you were to point out the shit comics, it wouldn't be noticeable because for every copy of SJW: Soapbox Edition that doesn't sell, there are hundreds of coloring books, children's novels, and the like that -do- sell.

The real answer to all of this is, is that those comics are just horribly irrelevant in the big picture. They're so piddling small in sales and figures that they just don't register as a concern- Disney execs work with figure totaling in millions. Keep in mind financial statements and reports are written to reflect that. Even if you were to have titles like Squirrel Girl pointed out, they'd be represented in $ by the million, and since they come nowhere close to being that importing- net profit OR loss- it flies right over execs heads because when you're discussing other properties as 'worth $112m', and you see a figure of '$0.013m', you're not going to care about it that much. That's cup-holder change in the accounting system of Disney. You don't care about the nickels in the cupholder when you're using hundred dollar bills for transactions.

Nothing to do with profit or loss, but rather, just to save face and reputation. Every lackey and manager has somebody they answer two, and it just goes up the ladder until somebody at top casually mentions it over coffee. That travels back down the ladder, and rather than let the subject of that casual mention blow up into something that isn't such a casual fuck up, they cut that comic off. The suits at top might not care about these things, but one of their subordinates might, and that may be somebody -you- are under. So while that person possibly can't make the call to axe a certain product, they certainly CAN make the call to make your life miserable. Hence, you sacrifice one of your own lackeys and pet projects to save your ass.
