I was thinking of making a VR holocaust death camp simulator to show how preposterous the entire thing is using nothing but the current historically accepted figures and survivor testimony. Several problems arise;
How are people going to play it?
Both major PC VR platforms are completely locked down, the open one(OSVR) has no market presence outside of developers and flight or driving sim fanatics. Having users download an executable and running it like a standard program is not an option for 99.9% of users in this category(too stupid to read a readme file and unlock their device), asides for on the Vive where the numbers might be a bit better. Same issue with the Google Cardboard or GearVR if I was going to make a lesser mobile experience for a larger audience.
Your average consumer doesn't leave their walled garden ever. So while getting it working on those platforms is feasible the access to it will be very limited.
What engine am I going to use?
Most commercial engines that are compatible with VR and allow non-commercial use have licensing terms that would let them shut the project down and go after those that host it. Free as in freedom engines like Blender or Panda3d are a pain to use and VR headset support is experimental at best.
How am I going to distribute it?
While the Daily Stormer might host it that costs money they don't have. File hosting sites like Mega have a limit on free bandwidth use that dedicated groups could easily eat up and flag as illegal content. Torrents can also be attacked and it's not private unless you're using a VPN.
I'm on >>>/agdg/ and >>>/vir/ quite regularly, I'm confident that this was a project I could undertake. Game development using modern toolsets is incredibly easy and VR media is going to become a major battleground for perception management.
But we're not in the wild west days of the 00's anymore where a group like the National Alliance can make and sell a videogame called 'Ethnic Cleansing' for $14.88 and potentially have tens of millions download and play it. In the tech industry consumers have bought into attractive prisons that doesn't allow anything controversial, destroys their privacy and is taking away their freedoms.

Make it accurate to the actual floorplans of the place, and scale the time it takes for the ovens to work to the rate at which they're getting killed, so that even if you load them into the ovens as fast as you possibly can, you still get dozens and dozens of dead kikes piling up in the gas chambers, and it gets worse the longer you play.
Also, make sure that it has floppy rag doll physics like Viscera Cleanup Detail.

That's why I said the numbers might be a little better with that headset. A lot of libre projects like Dolphin are going this route to develop for the Vive using the OSVR SDK.
The problem is Vive users won't be installing 'neo nazi hate speech' from the the Steam store anytime soon. If it's not on their service it might as well not exist, nobody is getting real VR content outside of the official store their device is intended to be used with by design. They want ownership of that 30% cut of revenue and customer data.
Asides for porn where some commercial games like CustomMaid3d2 are providing CV1/Vive support. They can afford to deal with compatibility issues when the latest VR firmware update breaks anything not approved on the official store on purpose.
If I'm going to do this I'm not interested in having a few clickbait blog pieces written about VR hate and see it forgotten about in a week. I want people to actually experience it and have it done properly. Where 'debunked' pages are left grasping at straws and helping to prove my point.
The real issue is the VR ecosystem being a locked down nightmare for independent development intended to be sold or distributed outside their walled gardens.
The idea was to use information only from real holocaust museums.
