Hey Holla Forums, could we take over Niger?

The army of Niger contains 5,200 men, with French-supplied equipment. They don't have a lot of armored vehicles. They have been involved in many military coups.

4 and 8 /k/ and Holla Forums combined would take Niger over easily, almost makes you ask why we haven's started killing off the inhabitants of shitty countries and clearing a warpath throughout the world.

Is there even a central government in Niger to overthrow?

That's just edgy teens and fat retards for the most part. They wouldn't be a threat to a dog with an AR15

Yes there is, but it is ineffectual and is second only to Somalia as a failed state.

Let's get planning faggots.

The government only controls south and east of Niamey in the dark green region. There's a Tuareg rebellion in the aptly sand colored region, aided by weapons from Qaddafi and Muslims from Mali. The government can't defeat them, so all they can do is contain them and stop them attacking the south, the town of Agadez, and a paved highway running between them. The closer you get to the border, the more lawless it is. Controlling the south and the east is proving more difficult, as a few Boko Haram insurgents infiltrated into Niger after they were kicked out of Nigeria by its government.
TL;DR: The best place to attack is probably the south.

...

France owns the natural resources of Niger, any attempt to overthrow the government by a organized group is going to end in frog/NATO intervention.
