The movie does a great job as it is of spreading your propaganda, and painting hitler in a positive light. the director fucked up, tried to push an agenda and accidentally ended up spilling a bottle of red pills all over the set. the comedy bits add contrast to the plot that makes the more serious and political bits stand out, and the dog shooting scene gives critical dissonance to the plot that reminds you that the director is pushing his own agenda.

The movie is fine as is, and removing scenes or fucking with this perfect shitstorm of ingredients fucks with the recipe and sours the broth and you have no character if you support it.

There is no need for this film to be re-cut to have it portray Hitler positively. Aside from some minor comedy involving Hitler being unaware of modern technology, he is portrayed as an intelligent and passionate man throughout the film who only wants to make Germany great again. Whilst the protagonist comes off as a loser beta who literally lives with his mum. The comedy in the film doesn't feel like it comes at the expense of Hitler but rather the people around him who can't fathom that he has actually returned to the modern day, the film has you laugh with him rather than at him.

The only blatantly propagandistic aspect was when Hitler shoots the dog which even most Germans today would realise is not realistic given Hitlers widely publicised love for animals and especially dogs. Unless you are a dyed in the wool cultural marxist zombie who has a pavlovian response of revolt to anything involving Hitler, which I guess is what the film makers were banking on the audience as being, this is a pretty red-pilled movie overall.

the actor obviously did plenty of research into how Hitler saw the world, and he genuinely wanted to help people. He was not in it for himself. This movie was complete leftist garbage, and it was boring.

But there was one good part. The actor portraying Hitler said to one of the Germans being interviewed, "Would you do what I commanded you?" And the guy says, "Turn off the camera." (of course the Jude didn't turn it off, he just lowered it). Then the Germans says: "If you were really him, probably."

There's hope for the Germans yet.

They put that in their so a new generation of people can hate Hitler. Just imagine all the normies watching that movie and thinking ..hm… how about this Hitler character, seems OK????

I watched the movie and I'm not a German but the movie is propaganda. The only thing I liked in the movie was how Hitler criticised right wing parties for being weak.

also you delete things that look like pure butthurt from your part, everything that make right wing movements or even hitler look a bit bad.

i agree the dog shooting thing is off a bit and the thing that he throes to the enviroment, but i wouldn't leave everything that looks slighltly bad out. Remember that these little things are what normal people sympathize with, it shows that he had flaws too, and hypocrisies.

the movie doesn't even condemn him for shooting the dog, it shows it as a minor thing that the media freaks out about.

I'm worried you are actually ruining the movie for most people, and posibly endangering the actual plot.

When I saw this on Netflix I was shocked about so much non PC stuff being on display, it is the right amount, remember it's a movie and don't be so uptight, god damn.

Honestly I agree. The movie feels like either a failed anti-Hitler propaganda piece or someone hidden their message/powerlevel as one. The end of the movie even shows how Hitler has by then adapted to the current Germany, while implying a "happy" ending were he will fix Germany anew.

Its obvious the material is not meant to be Pro-Hitler, and more like a reflect of current Germany and their relationship with their "terrible" past and how them coming to terms with it. However the resulting movie ended up being unintentionally far more sympathetic towards Hitler's views and at the same time a critique of modern democracy Germany compared to Hitler's ideal vision for the country. Pleasantly surprised at this one.
