This is more of a writefag request, but I'd really like to see people recaptioning Ghastly's Apophenia 357 comic, like they did in the good old days.

You should try going AS FAR exaggerated as you can stand, before even considering coming back. A lot of pictures you try like that won't work, at all, but you'll probably learn a bit from each one. Am I right to think you're working on being more dynamic and distinctive right now? So my suggestion would be to totally fuck up as many times as you can stand, while focusing purely on what you want to exaggerate most in each image.

With that in mind, my request for any one who wants to try is do draw a Spiderman pose, as extreme or dynamic as you can do. Don't even need to bother with the costume (but it's cool if you want to), I'm just curious how much action everyone can bring to the table. I'll even do a few sketches in a bit.

You're fucking right user! I'm kinda bored of doing the fundamentals in a realistic way, so I'm trying to find a style for myself. I have to say, it's kinda scary trying to exaggerate that much, but I like your suggestions, thank you very much. I'll try to break some Spider-Man spines now!

I hope you enjoy doing some Spidey sketches. I know one hard thing is that even the more outlandish poses you can readily think of have been done in the comics, just part of the character being around so long and having so many great people work on him. But there is a certain freeing nature about him that makes poses you normally wouldn't consider work, so it's a nice way to practice things.

Only think I'd suggest, in the name of pure eroticisim, is to exaggerate the tummy to hip meet up into a smoother (or pointier) curve. Realistically, to get the hip to waist ratio you have there, you're right. She'd have bones visible, and you'd have to make not of how her muscles and fat deposits work out. But it's okay to straight out CHEAT for the sake of sexy! You could fib a little and ignore the details of ribs or exact hip bone protrusion, focusing more on an idealized hour glass. At least, that's how I see it.

Like what said it's best not to get overboard with realistic details and go for a smoother, cartoony figure like these, otherwise it'll end up being too uncanny and therefore unfappable.

Depends really. Keyword is "appeal". As long as the overt details serve the overall "appeal", it doesnt matter how much you have it. Design-wise "appeal" is one of those subjective terms out there that are hardest to master.

Slow delivery is slow

The short comic itself was for a competition so I was restrained to 4 pages max.
The comic itself is double sided. You can get the easy wordplay part of it, but if you look at it deeper u can see that his parents (the graves on first page) were shot and also the Spiteful Spectre itself has a bullet hole in it's head. Basically everything dead around the kid is due to gun crime and the kid is aware of that and that is why he only uses the gun to draw.
This is about kids being aware of things and not being polluted by evil, not about gun criticism.

Her costume should look like a Red "Creey alleyway stalker" Raincoat with an Asscreed tier motive to it, though it emphasis her neck, sweet necklines and all that mature "womanly" detail.

That ruby crystal should be in her possession, or embedded into her chest which also acts as the emblem for her costume or has the costume form around it. As an added idea, it's powers extended to doing whatever if possible through red surfaces I.E Is never caught by authorities as she can walk through waypoints between siren lights or something.

As others said, yeah, she had a gun. She did pretty basic detective stuff, shoot guns out of criminal's hands, swing on ropes, beat people up. As close or as far as you want to go from that is up to you.

I guess this Holla Forums Wacky Races thing was a "3 months ago" thing? And tips for requests we need to add into the next OP? Obviously some art from this thread should be posted next thread (if not all of it) just to highlight what kinda artists we have and what requests got done (and someone may be coming back after a few months, who knows).
