Red one goes from like 0.5-1.2" thin and is maybe 7.5" long.
The dildo is up to 1.4" thick and IIRC 5.5" insertable length.
Tbh, if it were 1.2 or 1.3" in girth it would probably be better for a first timer. The red one is wonderful in that you can start off with the thin one and then switch, but really, even the thicker end slides in with ease.
