Yeah, the first one was some quality shit.

I think there you were seeing the beginnings of studios being fucking terrified about releasing any sort of project based on new IP. It was safer to constantly rehash a name that everyone was already familiar with, and the just haven't stopped

Money. Despite no one under 20 remembering the LBT movies, despite there not being an LBT movie in years, despite all the sequels being awful, they think they can still make money off it, so they'll keep making them until they stop being profitable.

Holy shit! I don't think I've ever seen such a high number of sequels. Perhaps it exists for some horror franchise, but this is an adventure film. Seeing the get into a situation above their heads and survive with some luck and smarts once I can do. The third time it starts to get a bit annoying. At fourteenth time my suspense of disbelief has long since run out.

Why did they go back?

I first watched that at the tender age of 6. I remember being so traumatized by the mother's death.

I don't think even horror movies get that many sequels. LBT has reached porno-tier in number of sequels now.

That's pretty good animation for a straight to video animation

I've only seen the first one.
Are the other 13 movies basically the same movie?
