Jim's an incompetent grandpa and managed to accidentally ban shit-tons of people by complete accident while range-banning CP bots. Went into the entirely wrong report list- normal reports handled by board owners, not global reports- and stepped on tens of thousands of toes.
Lots of board owners and volunteers are shitting their drawers over it for one reason or another, be it that pedo threads are being banned, that Jim's a bumbling dolt, or that they were banned and then unbanned without an official explanation until just recently.
I'd advise you stay put on this chan and totally ignore the calls for exoduses (exodii?), honestly. What's happened was one hell of a big hiccup and the kneejerk MOVE TO ANOTHER CHAN GUYS wouldn't help anybody unless you could magically ensure everyone switches to just one particular chan to make sure the userbase is carried over unscathed. Listing like ten or twenty fucking alternatives will just splinter the shit out of it and make sure nothing coagulates on any board.
