Holla Forums was my most visited board for a long time, from about 2006 to 2012, but it got so shitty that I couldn't even go on it anymore. When GamerGate started, I started going on Holla Forums again to check up on the GamerGate threads, and then GamerGate got banned on 4chan. After the exodos, I started going on the Holla Forums here, and it was actually pretty good, but then got shit up not long after. Hell, even wizardchan's vidya board is better than modern day Holla Forums.

If you're trying to funpost on Holla Forums in a way that the mods will not notice, pretty much just don't spam, don't use dubs, and don't blatantly say that you're shitposting. From experience, Mark and his cronies are so dense that as long as you have a tertiary connection to video games in your posts, you can pretty much shit up any thread and get tons of replies under the guise of vidya culture or some shit.

To add to this, if you want your posts to stay up and not get deleted and you banned (for those who don't use vps, but also posts untouched do more damage in the long run than quickly deleted obvious shitposts), post at all times under the knowlege that Mark can and DOES look up your post history and follow you despite being anonymous. So even if you think you're safe, try to play it as well as you can, because Mark has a rule that lets him ban people for "post history", so basically if he looks you up and doesn't like what he sees.

Plus they pirate said games they hate. Sure, pirating a shitty game isn't as bad as buying it, but a game getting pirated alot tells the company/developers that theres alot of interest in the game, so pirating a shitty game is cancerous, you shouldn't play it at all instead.
