i am using chrome browser on windows 10 and i did it easily. if you use something else i am sure there is a similar method.
1. click the https lock on the URL bar
2.navigate to elements
3. find : : after near the bottom 3rd line up and click it.
4.a menu will appear that says Styles and has check boxes. uncheck the i.imgur link

I find it funny how this image is hosted on imgur after imgur fucked ddos'd Holla Forums through it's users and injected them malicious code through images hosted in imgur

really thats a user related issue as whoever did accept the infected code was probably underage and therefore likely didn't have adequate security set up or in operation at the time of said event.
but hey to be fair i agree that something should have been done to prevent that from happening and tbh i'm sure they made it so that cannot happen again.
