There are so many problems with this one sentence.
Dinosauria is not a species, it's a clade.
Secondly, 65 million years? z film is called Jurassic Park, not Cretaceous Park. The Jurassic period ended 145 million years ago.
Thirdly, Dinosauria were not the only Dinosauromorpha that existed during either the Jurassic or the Cretaceous period. There were also Pterosauria and Lagerpeton among others.

What could they possibly do in this movie that hasn't been done before in the other 4? Only thing I can think of is escaped dinos on the mainland, but even then that is just changing location and nothing else.

That happened in one of them, and it was incredibly dumb.

T-Rex gets loose looking for it's baby, eats a dog (which the director says in the commentary was added specifically to get people to stop being on it's side) and is then quickly lured back onto the boat it got loose from without incident and taken back to the island where the cast returns for the rest of the movie.

It didn't make ANY sense, but then again this is also the movie where two white people have a black daughter who defeats a raptor by grabbing a pipe and swinging around in the air until it decides to jump at her at which point her black pre-teen legs are apparently strong enough to knock out the raptor when connecting with it's head.

Nothing, aside from some cringey lines from the female co-star it was a decent movie.

Huh, didn't know about that bit with the rex eating the dog. However, as you pointed out, that still makes more sense that raptor killing gymnasts or how the supposed animal behavior lady that keeps doing stupid shit like keeping a shirt soaked in T-Rex Blood on while hiking through a forest with dinos that hunt primary by smell.

I still think they could make a decent film involving a hunting safari, kind of like what that big game hunter leading the Ingen expedition was doing. I did think the vehicles and equipment were neat and would enjoy seeing something more modern. Or a group of people find out something valuable (dino cloning information, how to make a hybrid animal and it not die within a few days, something to that extent) still exists on isla sorna, but in an area with plenty of carnivores around (could be raptors,t-rex, or a new dino), and they prep and go to retrieve it. It would just be nice to have an action/thriller movie without any meta commentary to ruin it. I just want to see people interacting with dinos and not have the dinos be a stand in for some pet cause.

That's it, it's all you need. Anything more than that is undervaluing the dinosaurs. The next one will be about more bioengineered dinos when they have no need for any of that. Do it like a resident evil movie, every movie picks 2-3 game monsters and they're the new attraction. So pick 2-3 new dinosaurs and feature them along side the T rex and raptors and you're good to go. Maybe this time they feature poisonous dinosaurs and one of the (token) kids gets poisoned so they're in a race against time to get an antidote. Maybe instead of all the fences shutting down it's just some dinos slipped through security and it's closed for whatever reason so only a skeleton crew is working, most of who are out in the paddocks themselves.

Dinos are one of the few things that can be done but hasn't been exploited yet. People like dinosaurs, they enjoy seeing them and having them fighting shit. just do the damn Marvel thing already and make films with minor twists and people will love them.

It's in the commentary for Secret Window, where another pet is killed. He explains that when making Jurassic Park in initial test screenings audiences were completely on the T-Rex's side because it was just trying to find it's baby, but he said killing an animal is the quickest way to make the audience hate a character, especially if it's a dog that gets killed.

Secret Window was a good movie.

What we really need is a Jurassic Park film with a strong vegan message. They should cast Joaquin Phoenix, James Cromwell, and Ellen Page in it. Get Darren Aronofsky to direct, would be a vegan dream team.
