Lets talk masculinity Holla Forums
What happened to being a man? It used to be a good thing. It used to actually mean something.
Growing facial hair, dressing up for your profession, being proud to work. Being independent, self sufficient, and good with your hands. Being assertive while at the same time respectful.
None of that is rewarded in modern day, minus working hard, but that's now a requirement if you want to survive.
Women used to crave these men, now they instead marry douche bags who sit in an office chair all day and who are probably overweight. Or instead of the good typical man, they choose the faggot who is beta enough to actually want to marry her and buy her the most expensive ring and have a wedding to show off on facebook. All the while being cucked and cheated on, then paying alimony after the divorce.
Not only marriage either, it's now frowned upon to be a man. We're encouraged to be pussies and express every petty emotion that we have, we're expected to be so cucked that we end up marrying whores with previous kids. We can no longer live on our own effectively unless we were born well-off or work like a slave. We can no longer find the women we want and with enough effort win her over, instead you'll get friend-zoned..
It's now unacceptable to try and actually court women but instead have degenerate sex at parties and get herpes, or only hit on drunk chicks. It's now socially unacceptable to pursue your desires unless the women allows the time and place.
Work that requires heavy physical labor used to earn a man respect and decent money to live on, now they're seen as trash and stepping stones to be used for corporate gain, only to be laughed at by the cucks behind a desk and their harpy wives.
Is there room for masculinity in modern day?
