Is there any reason why satire sites got shat up recently? The Onion, P4R(it's dead so I guess that's some respite) and Cracked come to mind.

With Cracked I think they felt guilty being so edgy. Its weird I've noticed people who I watched in highschool on the internet from 2009-2012 who were legitimately funny and edgy. They didn't give a fuck what people though then around 2014 I began noticing this trend of not hurting people's feelings and virtue signaling.
