Monsterkino

What's your favourite monsterkino, Holla Forums?

The Thing

Gojira 1954

Blackzilla

gremlins (the real one not the shitty reboot)

dont judge me

The Host

Doesn't get enough recognition for being a "monster" movie but Little Shop of Horrors is my answer. Fun fact: the original ending scene cost over $4 million and was cut out of the movie because test audiences found it too dark.

this cost 4 million dollars in 1980's money? wtf jim henson, you're no elon musk

Probably adjusted for inflation.

But that was the ending I saw of the movie when I watched it online.

I looked this up hoping that there was a blaxploitation version of Godzilla because that sounds funny as shit but it was just shit porn.

...

I didn't know they did a reboot of Gremlins.

animals killing people movies are great movies. my wifes favourite genre.

her favourites are:

best recent one was The Shallows. Top tier animal killing movie.

I think I've seen all of those. Has she seen Frankenfish yet?

You'd probably like the old classics too

I wouldn't mind checking it out since I grew up on monster movies. Though some other ones I want to check out are Q the Wigned Serpent and Reptilicus.

Eight Legged Freaks
Godzilla v King Kong
King Kong original
The Beast from 50,000 Fathoms
Godzilla Destroy All Monsters
Godzilla v Mothra
Godzilla 2000
Gamera
Gamera v Zigra
Gamera v Gyaos
Heisei Gamera trilogy
Slither

I wish I could say Anaconda was good but Jon Voight really overacted. The ham in that movie was so bad it was unintentional comedy.

I unironically like the King Kong remake.

Me too user. Me too.

There is a sequel being made, but no reboot.

But he's the best part!

Deep Rising with Famke Jensen and Treat Williams.

That is highly offensive!

jesus christ anons, please get me out of here ;_;

Why thank you!

where do you wanna go?

What are some good sea monster movies? I've seen The Beast, Deep Rising, Piranha series, and most shitty shark movies.

Dubs, besides Godzilla there's this film called Gehara. Its a small kaiju film though I don't know where you can find it.

Also, Reptilicus, the Behemoth, Kraken 2006, Beast from 20,000 fathoms.

Same different, they stopped doing straight reboots and now do a reboot that acts as a sequel.

Beat me to it.

Species

I always wanted to watch that.

It's fun. Marg Helgenberger hooks up with Michael Madsen and Natasha Henstridge is naked a lot.
