At 5 panic that district adds to overall City anarchy meter. You get "satellites" to place in districts and few buttons to manage panic, so it's easier than Xcom1 but more involved than 2. To be honest I don't know how you can even get game over since losing missions forces you to reload, so you can't get your A team killed and keep failing mission after mission. With all the tools you get to manage panic you'd have to purposefully let anarchy rise

I've always liked the idea of alien squad mates but, rather than having interesting discussions about their race and culture or sharing old war stories that allow you to connect with them on some level, you are instead left to endure shitty quips that even Marvel writers would ditch. I was hoping for something on the level of Mass Effect 1/2 and was interested to see how human genes might interfere with these aliens and their outlook. Verge is by far the most interesting character, a sectoid who developed sympathy for humanity after he was imbued with human genes and became an informant for XCOM. The game isn't terrible and I've enjoyed it for what it is, I just can't believe that something like XCOM ended up becoming a vessel for progressive propaganda.

I would have found it interesting if we were paired up with a soldier that was all too happy to serve ADVENT before it collapsed. It would create interesting dynamics in character relationships, more so than a clone who is entirely pure and innocent. I like Cherub as a character, I suppose, he's just rather dull.
