The issue is that they scapegoat their fatness on natural circumstance when they eat a lot of unhealthy shit frequently on a daily basis. They do tell you that they're trying hard to reduce it, but the majority of them just do the very bare minimum.

They sacrifice one unhealthy thing, but they ignore the rest of the unhealthy activities and meals. You can't expect to lose weight if you sacrifice McDonalds and start to jog, but still eat 3 party-sized party sized bags of Hot Cheetos while dipping your strawberries in milk/vanilla chocolate. You have to completely sacrifice the unhealthy junk in order for it to make an noticeable impact.
