WB is desperate, and Scooby Doo is one of those things they have always been able to crank out.
I have never met a real person who actually likes Scooby-Doo. I am convinced this stupid show is a generational experiment on convincing people to like crap if they push it long enough that the post-ironic phase ends and people forget what taste was.
I liked Scooby Doo when I was 7.
I still like scooby doo
holy shit what
Scooby Doo did somethings with WWE.
looks like we have a mystery on our hands!
Watching this on /wooo/tube was amazing
It's mind boggling that they made two WWE/Scooby Doo movies and a Flintstones/WWE movie.
STOP WITH THE CINEMATIC UNIVERSES!
STOOOOOOOOOOOOP!
wake me up inside
Watch Mystery Inc nigga. It's got Lovecraft and shit
Don't forget the WW2 German robots.
Everybody's announcing their own cinematic universe but so far, only Marvel has actual made one. DC can try all they want but they sure aren't succeeding in establishing one. Everyone's putting the cart before the horse, rather than doing what Marvel did by creating successful movies first, while showing only bits of a connected universe to organically create it.
God damn
old scooby doo was best
...
WHAT THE FUCK HAVE THEY DONE TO MY SCOOBY DOO
Made him cool, nigga

Apart from the original series, Scooby Doo has always been shit, the one in the webms actually seem good. Heck even the original wasn't that great to begin with, I have no clue how new Scooby Doo shit is even still made. Same goes for The Flintstones, at least the Jetsons doesn't have anything new.
that was what I meant. the originials
Scooby Doo has had
12 TV series.
2 Theatrical live action movies.
2 TV live action movies
26 DTV animated movies.
and a bunch of other shit.
You are correct, but not completely. You forgot to mention Hanna-Barbera (the creators themselves and the company) in general has always been shit. Most everything they've done has been dog shit with the exception of Tom and Jerry when they were still at MGM.
Hanna-Barbera made good original cartoons but beyond those, were mainly shit.
The live action movies were good
>The live action movies were good
no
We gonna have to disagree, fam. Everything they did was unoriginal. A lot of them were even copies of shows they already did. Jabberjaw is Scooby Doo with a shark. Jetsons are Flintstones in space. Snorks are Smurfs underwater. Josie and the Pussycats is just another Scooby Doo. Magilla Gorilla is Yogi Bear. Etc.
They got lucky a couple times with cartoons, and then did slight variations on those cartoons over and over for 40+ years. And the original ones everything was based on were shit too. If it wasn't for Adult Swim re-using Space Ghost, Birdman, and Sealab 2020, and Cartoon Network's What a Cartoon, Hanna-Barbera would've fallen into obscurity and died making shitty modern Scooby Doo reboots.
The only people who I know that like cartoons are humongous faggots that are basically all the worst stereotypes of millennials. The only cartoons they like are tumblr shit like adventure time, steven universe and some other gay garbage.
Scooby is high art compared to the shit created by CalArts trash animators.
Even if you think all Scooby is shit, no one can disagree that the worst show is current year show

Why the fuck does Fred look like they photoshopped Shaggys face onto his
Zoicks scoob, its like they forgot how to draw him!
RAI RO RIGHT? RAT A RUNCH OF RETARDS
God Bless America!
Their cartoons always seemed like filler you'd watch until you got to the good stuff. Maybe they made really cheap shit and sold it in bulk.
Because its 2016, and the fact that the Holocaust happened 70 years ago and we STILL haven't had a Space Ghost movie is a goddamned tragedy, and all of us are to blame for it.
OG, not Coast to Coast?
Coast to Coast wouldent be the same without Zorak and Moltar.
...
This is why we can't have nice things
I loved this show
Good stuff.
Kind of, everything past iron one had references to stark labs or some other superhero or shield. They were planning this as soon as Disney bought out marvel

If they make movies about your ideas, you will be held accountable, you fucking monster.
At least we're all in agreement that the first live action scooby doo movie was not only trash but unpredictably mean-spirited trash. Watching it just makes me feel sick.
Lol, wut. How can a scooby doo movie be mean spirited?
Watch it and find out.
I just watched the trailer, it just looks dumb. Are you fucking with me? Or is it actually mean-spiritied? I'll watch it if it is.
Why does Daphne look like a pornstar?
I think he's talking about the way they handled Scrappy
Because daphne best girl
Tha isn't meanspirited, just retarded
OG man, although I wouldn't mind Coast to Coast if they do it right.
Original Space Ghost was repetitive and safe, the fast food of cartoons. Not even McDonalds, more like Sonic or Arby's. But I don't know, I always felt like it had a lot of potential if the right nigger was brought in to build upon that sweet foundation.
Is she?
Fuck, meant velma, trailer thumbnail fucked me up.
...
Thank ye user, saved
Holy shit, really?
Also, those thugs look like the ones from Jin-Roh.
Ok, Taker rising up from bed was pretty funny.
...
wew
actually she's attractive in cartoons too
People who fapped to her when they were kids are making the cartoons now.
Trailers were more deceptive back then than they are today. The movie had a gigantic marketing budget. It had promos on networks that still aired Hanna Barbera IPs, especially Cartoon Network. The movie was done by people who seemed to hate the series and wanted to make fun of it. It came off as twisted, cynical, and "mean."
Even if you don't like scrappy and I can't imagine anyone that does, his portrayal was pretty bizarre.
Zombie Island was good.
She's always been best girl.
Well, Shaggy from the live action movies is now the current voice, so other than hot Velma, it was the only good thing to come from them.
Fucking family guy eyes.
Damn right.
Seriously, are we sure Seth MacFarlane isn't involved in anyway?
...
As much as I absolute hate Scooby Doo, I can't ignore the fact that its original theme and following variations have always been catchy.
Also, that 13 ghosts theme is pretty damn awesome.
Imagine back in the day, hearing about a new Scooby Doo show premiering. You expect the standard fare:
Instead, you get this:
Seeing that opening for the first time must have been been a really great surprise. Real intense.
I'm still gushing over this, bear with me.
The opening narration sounds almost like a PSA at first. The narrator is adressing the viewers directly!
Not to mention Scooby actually screaming for help, (which he never otherwise does; he always runs away).
And this time, no one can help him! Usually he just rejoins the gang, and everythings fine.
Here, he's already with them, and they're just as vunerable and scared as he is.
He cries out to no one before he and his dearest friends are devoured by shadowy hands.
I mean, jeez.
That's a pretty big departure from the shows usual formula.
I can't believe I'm getting stoked about Scooby Doo.
why is Jin-Roh attacking the Mistery Machine?
>>>/suicide/
Amazing. I haven't seen one single episode of this and I already know that it's garbage. Why the fuck can't animators just go for realism anymore? Modern "stylized" cartoons are hideous eyecancer.
Live action Velma played Hot Dog Water in Mystery Inc., as well, so that was nice.
Cast her.
Let's head to the MALT SHOP
...
not surprised really.
lol
So… Harvey Birdman?
It took me a whole fucking day to realize that your first webm is referring to "traps" as in the big retarded rube-goldberg machines that Fred comes up with to try and catch the monsters at the end of each episode, and not as in the chicks with dicks.
Fuck you, Sonic is better than McDonalds could hope to be.
McDonalds is only more popular because it's way cheaper. Their burgers are fucking sawdust and their fries wouldn't have any taste at all without the copious amounts of salt they put on them.
weren't the WWE movies supposed to be weirdly good. I see them talked about pretty fondly on Holla Forums,
I haven't watched them, but according to some guys on there, yeah, they're good.
...
They're really really stupid. Which makes them perfect.
...
...
...
The Game is the flick
HHH is film
Hunter Hearst Helmsley is kino.
did they died?
I expected Daphne and Velma to dyke out
...
So a Lovecraftian horror reviving Freddy and Daphne after they jihaded Nazi robots only to then absorb them is now Scooby-Doo canon?
This is a separate canon from 'Scooby Doo, Where are you?' and the shows connected with it
Not quite. The van was remote controlled, and those were Fred's parents. There was some plastic surgery done.
...
God damn, a little effort could go a long way with these shows.
That first one is the perfect representation of Obama's military
The halloween themed scooby doos of the 90's were the comfiest, although somewhat boring on rewatch, the cartoon network narrator always made everything sound epic however so I'm guessing that's why I picture them better than what they actually are.
Off the hat I remember (somewhat):
The boo brothers
Wolf race
And my fave ghoul school
The 13 ghosts is the one I wanna rewatch, though I'm guessing it was never completed.
Anyways speaking of catchy theme songs, anyone remember zombie island, it was the high point of the franchise.
Pro-tip: It was a swat kats episode that got cancelled and reworked into a scooby doo storyline.
...
They did a good job then. Zombie Island is the best SD movie.
I actually loved that pirate zombie shit when I was little
I never watched the live action scooby kino films are they any good.
No thanks!

Why are they using the turn of the millenium "What's New Scooby Doo?" theme. Did they not write a theme for this show?
I can't Daphne and Velma to be falling all over themselves in love with the new black Fred. Shaggy, of course, will remain a shitfless white loser, and Scooby will be a transnigger pansexual muslim.
the live action ones feel more like a piss take if anything. I wouldn't call them outright bad though.
In all seriousness, the way companies want to make a "cinematic universe" just because marvel has been successful shows what a bunch of soulless, greedy, and out of touch bunch of kikes they are.
it's also a good case study for bureaucratic delay.
...
God damn I loved that show.
When was this made?
I find it ironic that Hanna-Barbera, along with Filmation and a bunch of other studios, had some of the worst animation ever seen on television back in the day and yet now pretty much everything Scooby-Doo, with the exception of Family Guy Scooby Doo, has exceptional animation quality.
>>>Holla Forums
So good.
Hanna-barbara a shit. Those niggers basically turned American animation into a cheap, outsourced joke in the 60s.
Yeah, they were trash, deal with it cuck
That was UPA
You forgot to mention dat 80's Daphne
