I know I've come to the wrong fucking place, but I thought I should try asking for some movie recs.
Pics related are the last 5 I've watched. Not too picky on genre, but I do like Sci-FI, especially sci-fi horror. Other horror is fine, like TMMT, but not really into generic "muh possessed child/doll/dildo". Also a big sucker for generic action movies in which the protag does insane shit while explosions are going off everywhere, Liam Neeson and Jason Statham are some of my favourite actors.
Any suggestions on films to watch next?

Nah mate, we try not to let them use much of anything, just keep them in their little """communities""". Then we abuse them in child detention centres.

Have you seen The Thing yet? It's not that deep, but it's very enjoyable.
Ryder Hall

If you haven't watched it yet, try Snowpiercer.
Angel Lee
oh, and event horizon might fit your sci fi horror description better.

You should specify: JOHN CARPENTER IS THE BOMB, also watch HALLOWEEN
Dominic Bailey
If you like TMMT, try Creep, the English movie, it's brilliant subterranean horror. Imagine a pommie (???) Gollum fucking with people in the London tube.
Also The Depraved, from 2011, underground Nazi fucks with some teens. Slow burner, but the gore is great.
Have you seen The Tunnel, seeing as you're from Australia? The best found footage since [REC]. Wolf Creek and Wolf Creek 2, also. Will update more later.
Camden Taylor

Liam Russell
Wolf Creek scared the fuck out of me.
Kevin Lewis
Yeah, watched that about a fortnight ago for the trillionth time. Especially love the opening scene in which they spoil the opening theme, one of the few perks to learning basic Norwegian. The video game was also good. I'll defend the prequel.
I'll give it a go based solely on the poster.
Will try all of those. Thought about The Tunnel when I saw another post about it, reap a quick intro and the plot sounded like it was in the vein of REC, which I also enjoyed. Pom is the correct word. It's a noun and adjective.
Seen most, will watch the others. Ghosts of Mars is actually pretty fun to watch, despite the faults.
By name alone.
The sequel and TV series were letdowns, but the original was great. Watched that when I was rather young, maybe 11 or 12, and I was spooked only because I lived in Australia.
Ayden Collins
Wolf Creek is cool because it's a slasher movie with guns
the girl really should have shot him when she had the chance, that was just too campy
Parker Miller
Watch the raid, user.
Jaxson Evans
True. Also try Big Trouble in Little China and Escape from New York, OP.
