Why watch this diverse, Jewywood bullshit when you can just watch Seven Samurai again?

The original Magnificent Seven wasn't all that great to begin with and I despise how it's considered a "classic" nowadays. It always felt like a cheap imitation of the original that added fucking nothing, much like A Fistful of Dollars.

To be honest wasn't that bad in the grand scheme of things. There are a few complaints I have

For me that always was the draw of these films; how well the story and themes work with different character archetypes and a setting. If they had significantly added or changed the original outside the setting swap, there wouldn't have been much point.
