What was his problem?

Did being with Olive Oyl slowly drive him mad?

Live action popeye when?

Is that Shelley Duvall?
I don't remember.
I could look it up, but then I'd have nothing to say.

It already happened.

it is Shelley Duvall.

1980 I liked this movie btw.

Shelley DuVall is my waifu.
Is she related to Clea DuVall?

I first read that as Owl City

You poor black child.

What was with this movie? It was fucking surreal and creepy as fuck.

The octopussy battle at the end always gave me the willies for some reason.

Fuck kinda name is Olive Oyl anyway? Some kinda lubricant?

...

This movie is my thinspiration.

was there ever a man more swole than popeye?

It was probably the tumors of his hands.

That movie was pretty good. I don't care what anyone says.

When I saw this movie and TinTin back when I was a kid it blew my mind.

The movie was really bizarre and grotesque but I honestly believe Robin gave 100% of himself for the performance.
The thing is that you really can't stretch a premise like Popeye out to a feature length, a guy mumbling to himself and punching people for an hour and a half just doesn't hold up.

I think they did the right thing with the movie by fleshing out Olive's family and her relationship with Bluto and making Popeye sort of a side char for the most part. That was the best way to make it stretch and I think it worked well.

Popeye is like the Adam's Family movies, it draws more from the comics than the cartoons because the comics actually have a semblance of story. Critics at the time were mad it wasn't just a cartoon brought to life, but what do they know. They also hated Return to Oz because it was too dark like the original novels and not happy campy enough like the MGM film.

Man, what WASN'T his problem?

Normalfag detected. Abort yourself.

why are they hanging out with (((Lev Trotsky)))?

Took me a while
