Galaxy isn't even the best 3D Mario, that would either be Sunshine or 64.

This. People tell me it's nostalgia but I replayed it last year and I think it's still the best. I think it's the most challenging 3d mario and the beach theme is really enjoyable.

Some don't like it because it feels rushed, and it is.

I love it because I never any other 3D platforming games that has such a huge freedom of movement

Sunshine's ruined by the blue coin shit and the fact that getting all the shines gives you basically nothing in terms of rewards

I was about to argue that you get fuckall for beating 64, but I remembered you don't have to go through near as much retarded shit just to collect everything.

Plus abusing glitches in 64 was fun enough on its own.

Half of the maps in 64 are shitty and no fun. There's like 3 water levels, a tunnel level, and a level where you're in some kind of volcano or something and you can't even move the camera around and they're all aggravating. I don't remember too much water bullshit in sunshine.

You could say most of Sunshine's maps were pretty forgettable as well honestly.
Though I really like the ones I do remember.

You get Yoshi, 100 lives and a Super Jump

For beating Sunshine you get a different wallpaper on the Ending screen

Even when I was a kid I thought that ugly yoshi was lackluster.
Though I guess it is still better than a wallpaper.
