It's a dialogue heavy action movie done well. It was released at a time where dialogue heavy action movies sucked ass.

It's rightfully deserved in the context of the story though. If you treat people lower than animals due to a phenotype that they can't control, then they also have the right to treat you poorly in return. You can't expect them to be doormats who go, "Oy gevalt".
