What was his fucking problem?

What was his fucking problem?

His daughter married a man with a shitty mustache and his wife sounds like a literal bird

He was the only sane person in an insane world.

Hippies niggers and feminists were his problems.

jew producers and writers

he was a conservative strawman invented by (((Hollywood liberals)))

He didn't run for president.

Fun fact, the character was created to be hated by the audience, the entire point of the character's existence was to be a hate sink, but the character ended up becoming a fan favorite and one of the most beloved characters in sitcom history, a lot of people tuned in just for his scenes. The creators completely misjudged the values of the average '70s era family.

I was born in 1997 and I have no idea who this is

THOSE WERE THE DAYS

What, you didn't have TVLand?

Fuck, watch something besides shitty cartoons with Bill Murray's brother in them.

Flapjack is probably the greatest quarter-hour cartoon to ever be produced, friend.

and you knew where you were then
gassing kikes with Zyklon Ben
mister we could use a man like Heinrich Himmler again

...

Up yours buddy. Archie was never intended to be all that sympathetic, but he was almost NEVER a strawman. See, the writers for this show actually had an idea of what nuance and depth was.

Plus, no show that took shots at Meathead as often as this one did, and rather vicious ones at that, could be considered all THAT liberal. Forward thinking yes, but it wasn't afraid to pimp slap liberals for being stupid.

Being right

Norman Lear was a bed wetting liberal, but in olden times, writers were writers first, then political faggots.

If something was good or funny, they'd choose that over their message.

Nowadays of course, they don't do that. Sadly we'll never get back to that. The left are fuckheads and the right needs to fight back.

It was never like that. There have always been faggots who only talk shit and are considered funny.

It was more than just being Liberal. The show may not have agreed with Archie but it DID sympathize with him and even admitted when he had a point.

Mike: Arch, poor people steal, hungry people steal!
Archie: Oh yeah? That's why in that July blackout there they drove fifty cars out of the showrooms on account of they had a craving to eat a Pontiac.
Mike: Yes they have a craving, because the media advertisters create that craving! They tell the people what they should want, and they tell them that they're nothing unless they run right out and get it! Well what the hell are they supposed to do?
Archie: They're supposed to go out and work for a buck!

In another episode, Archie makes surprising salient points about how big corporations encouraged everyone to buy electronic products, and even made life difficult without them, only to, once they'd made their "billions and billions of dollars," turn around and start demanding that people save energy and go without.

Heck, for all it's Liberal leanings, Mike was shown almost as often as Archie as a complete dipshit. Heck, Archie's own actor, who was VERY big on worker's rights, basically refered to the Meathead as a Limousine Liberal. (AKA, talks big, but doesn't actually do much to actually change things.)

more like worker's privileges
