I know it's supposed to look like a WW2 era Jap battleship but fuck me thats such a shitty design for a space based war vessel it makes my fucking head hurt looks at that fucking thing al the weapons are mounted dorsally limiting field of fire to maybe a 180 degree hemisphere (and thats not taking into account the occlusion that fucking retarded conning tower would have on said field of fire effectively cutting a 30 - 40 degree slice out of said firing arc.
If you want to build a good space battleship you make a triangular prism with no projecting structures (other that mounted weapons that way you have a full 360 degree sphere of firing solutions and allowng the aft to mount the propulsion system and the front to hold some kind of main gun (think rail gun)
