I may have went overboard

So a local pawn shop was having a large sale on movies and got all these.
Total cost about $55
Rate my taste.

What's in the horror collector's set?

...

I'd like to add that I didn't buy all the garbage they had

Despite a lot of the other stuff being gems, and the fact that you got over 130 films meaning you paid less than a dollar for each of these films, you were still dramatically ripped off and have terrible taste.

Unless you're planning to burn them for a hilarious interweb video which you'll attach ads to. In which case, good investment.

10/10 Good taste

Get out.

meh to each it's own. I like watching movies both good and shit with drunk friends(especially shitty horror/scifi films). I mean why else would I buy the fucking skateboard kid.

I know a lot of people rate those films from meh to shit but for as cheap as I got them all I figure I'd watch them for myself as see if they are as good or bad as everyone seems to claim,
and on the bright side they'll all together keep me more entertained per hour than no man's sky

Some of these are amazing, but it's almost like you bought their evil twins too.

I've seen the thing
Have not seen tropic thunder, but heard good things
Never heard of the core but grabbed it because what the hell. what should i expect?

I'm surprised what I found as well, The Terminator 2 box still has it's hard metal collectors sleeve

Well, in fairness 19 bad films out of over 130 is a pretty good rate. A lot of the other films you got are easily masterpieces. I'm curious now, how many of these films have you actually seen before?

I haven't actually seen The Core (not that user) but I know that webm of the guy from Road Trip realizing the FBI is at his door and destroying all his computers and hard drives before they come in is from that movie, so it probably has some entertainment value. Protip: Watch Blade 2 and Hellboy 2 back to back, they were both directed by Guillermo del Toro and he reuses a TON of elements in both scripts. Even has the same actor play the villain in both.

Blade Trinity is just awful, though.

I've seen about 25% I'd guess. Alot of the 80's and early 90s stuff. I remember watching (edited) versions on TV, or VHS copies my parents had.
I'll do that

You know the 1996 movie Hackers and it's total lack of any technical accuracy? It's worse then that.

It's a hacking movie, It looks like just another generic disaster film
oh boy, I'll add this to the top of my list next weekend drinking with my friends

I bet half of those won't run on a computer because of copy protection and the other half doesn't run because scratches.

DVD copy protection has been very broken for a while. I've actually ripped a few of the newer releases with the copyprotection logo on the back with makemkv and it's worked just fine so far.

I actually checked all the disks before grabbing them, past quite a few movies that did have scartched disks. but I do have like 3-4 days to return any that don't work so I'm going to be backing them all up to make sure.

Not bad at all, you'll have fun for a while. I know most things are digital now. But there's something to be said for having physical box art, a disc to touch and put in a player. It's just so satisfying. You could do what James Rolfe does, and make film reviews with his collection.

t2, rambo 1, predator, the thing

throw the rest away

Keep A-Team and throw everything else away. It's all either stuff easily found on the internet or utter shit.

The movies range from total garbage to top tier, you are confirmed for slightly above normie pleb kind.

Do yourself a favor and invest in less movies in order to concentrate on the actual gems that usually cost a bit more since the good ones you bought are on tv every now and then anyway and also get that fucking gook shit out of your system .

Ah yes, the Core.

Famous for this scene

i missed these

The Thing is the only good movie in that entire lot.

Have fun wasting space

kystbhfam

look at this faggot

The pan and scan guy is a job that will never exist again.

...

That imply I have any sort of personality or opinions on movies people would want to hear

But shit can be entertaining too, with the right kinda of friends and drink

as I said before here>>453770 I find crap horror\scifi movies entertaining.

I know right, I could have used the shelf space I already have for bed for a homeless chap. To be fair though after watching them, the crap ones i don't find entertaining I'll probably resell.

Ex machina is good.

Why??

Have a good time OP. Casino Royale is great and I liked skyfall too.
