Why would you go down to the surface with the invading army to warn the Naboo of the invading army, which has already landed and is invading?
"We've got to warn the Naboo and contact Chancellor Valorum."
...
Well, how else were they going to warn them? Communications were blocked. I suppose they thought they could find a faster way than the robbits. Also, it's not if they had any other options than to go down to the planet, their ship blew up.
They're in a bad movie.
Is there no force telepathy or something to inform them?

Rich is leddit meme
Drunklasa is best Mike
Why would you shoot a man before throwing him out of a plane, which is already high up and the fall would most likely be lethal?
It's all part of the master plan.
No.
but he's right. to get down to the planet with the army it would have to be landed already. it's like if someone said they had to warn the french of the invading germans when there are already tanks in paris
Because their ship gets blown up.
It's more like if they're waiting literally inside the tanks, so they can warn the French about the tanks, when the tanks arrive.
The prequels are that stupid.
There is nothing illogical about that entire situation you RLM cocksucking faggot. They wanted to warn the Naboo about the invasion, they failed to do so, so instead they just rescue the queen. It's not fucking hard to figure out the logic behind all of that.
this is the pivotal moment that caused them to be unable to warn the naboo. if you didn't get that the first time, you're a fucking moron.
They were supposed to be taking a shortcut to the Naboo through the planet core.
The Gungans said it was the fastest way. So the only explanation is the Jedi went fucking slow in the water. They did lose power at one point so maybe that was the issue.
Thing is, when you have orbital domination you can pretty much land anywhere you want.
And Naboo doesn't look like the sort of place that would extensive planetary defenses, which, granted, doesn't make a lot of sense when you consider that the Republic seems to lack both a standing army and navy, and the whole setting is pockmarked with incredibly destructive wars.
Why do the Naboo democratically elect a Queen?
A teenage girl at that.
It's like their Miss Teen USA competition and for some reason the winner becomes their leader?
But wasn't it established that
A: The Naboo already knew about the invasion
B: warning them would make no difference, as they lack any significant military force
and C: see
So how about instead you rampage through the station you're on, sabotaging weapon systems, destroying droids and killing or capturing high ranking officers/execs, then steal a ship and run to warn the Council?
They elect a queen, who appoints senators.
And Senators can serve longer than Queens, who are term limited.
Yeah, it's really fucking stupid.
A fair point.
So what happened is they stowed away on the wrong ships and wound up on the other side of the planet.

Why didn't they just zerg rush Qui-gin and Obee with Droidekas anyway? The intro proved even two of them could easily take on the Jedi. Fuck off with your useless battle droids and just roll Droidekas at them.
Star Wars has been dead 10+ years and you fuckers are still in the bargaining stage. Get over it ffs.
...
Why didn't they start a war between the Jedi/Senate and the Trade Federation before proving the Trade Federation had done anything wrong? Gee, I wonder why.
Is the Trade Federation supposed to be like the East India companys of Europe thats just a business thats rich enough to field armies or like Italian merchant republics just a regular country with a focus on trade and commerce?
Supposedly the city must have had some anti-air defences. That's why they went in with infantry first and took control of the city. Notice how the green ayy lmaos land in the middle of the city after that.
...
What exactly did the Naboo have to do with the Taxation of trade routes that caused the Trade Federation to be butthurt? They didn't seem to be a real country, they were like Monaco or Luxembourg tier a place for rich people to be rich.
Also how the fuck does signing a treaty legitimise an invasion? It would be like if Dubya invaded Iraq and got Saddam to sign off a treaty to say "I approve of this invasion" it makes no sense.
Why did the Trade Federation waste their time with a military invasion anyway when their blockade and sanctions seemed to be doing fine?
I think they're supposed to be like the Jewtalian republics since we don't see them as a part of another empire.
Then again the Republic makes no fucking sense since they can't even field a basic army to defend themselves. Yet somehow maintain galactic peace.
