They probably would have made more domestically if it was an actual World of Warcraft movie instead doing the previous games before it. Warcraft gets a bad rep like John Carter when that came out. Jaded expectations clouded subjective reviews of what would just be an okay film.

warcrap was always crap, only good things are the cinematics and soundtracks.
