What I don't understand is why you'd make the turtles black to begin with. Niggers would only make up a minority of viewers even if they all viewed it when it aired. It seems pointless to change the main characters that much to appeal to a minority that won't contribute much to the profit margin. It's a baffling business decision. Might as well have just made April's camera man fella black if you wanted to have black appeal.
If they wanted to just radically alter the turtle designs then at least go the comics for inspiration first. Leo-turned-foot would've been a great design even if turned it blue.
