first for stoneheart SOON

First for best waifu DAVOS

First for r/asoiaf and halfchan on vacation

Why are the Karstarks okay with Ramsay killing Roose?

The same reason the Sand Snakes killed Doran:
PLOT LOL

...

Why did the Sand Snakes kill Doran?

Who is in charge of Dorne?

Your novel is probably shit.

First for that triggered bitch

HBO series when?

4 bastards.

Apparently you have no idea how many writers there are in the world.

Young Ned is miscast

The Karstark guy wants to have revenge on the Starks, but the only Stark male remaining according to his knowlegde is Jon. So he wants to kill Jon. Ramsay suggest to Roose that they should storm Castle Black to kill Jon. Roose refuses, that way he basically tells Karstark "fuck your revenge". So why should he care about Roose's death?

Why does Davos like Jon so much?

Why hasn't he asked about Shireen and Stannis' deaths?

And this is better than Stoneheart… how?

He knows there are alternatives to 8ch /got/, doesn't he?

Because the plot needs him to.

Again the answer is revenge. They want to slaughter Lannisters, while Doran wants peace or something else, but he doesn't want a vendetta. They want a vendetta, so they remove their obstacle
Probably Ellarya or what now

Why the fuck would anyone follow them instead of calling for their execution?

Why is Brienne able to kill Stannis and protect Sansa with no consequences?

What was the point of Stannis' arc?

Last thread had tumblr filenames, he's not hiding that he's a newfag anymore

Why did the Three Eyed Raven change his appearance?

Why did he get a haircut?

But Doran is supposed to have been "working" at the downfall of the Lannisters for a decade and a half.

Because Doran was a weak ruler despite keeping his country safe during wartime, apparently.

To be fair, what's a better place to get pictures of ugly fat girls than tumblr? That doesn't necessarily means he goes there.

Not only that, he also posted reddit filenames and refered to posts as "comments". He's a caricature of a newfag.

Uh you do know that tons of (porn)artists post their pics on tumblr? All it shows is he was too lazy to change the filename

lol, okay

WHY DOES THEON WANT TO GO BACK TO THE FATHER THAT TREATED HIM LIKE SHIT?

Was it ever in any doubt?

To show that religion brings you to a bad end.

Yeah, it's hamfisted, yeah, Stannis is agnostic or atheist in the books, but that's what D&D's interpretation is.

He likes Jon, because he is in such a huge contrast with what Stannis has become in his power-.hungry quest. Maybe he sees the old Stannis in him.
Why should he? He probably thinks that everyone got slaughtered, and the rumour of Stannis burning his own daugther probably spread like wildfire fire, get it?. Also he found his new Stannis, why would he care about the old one, who basically had two of his best friends Shireen and Stannis himself murdered?

How many times do I have to tell you?
Because the plot says he has to be there.

Go fuck yourself, I'd like to think he would spend a little more time mourning than what we saw.

Where did the dogs go in episode one after Brienne showed up??

Why is this show so sloppy?

I support this explanation.

You mean that explanation that isn't supported by anything in the show?

A non-retard on a tantrum? wew lad

>immediately start killing off scores of people

WHo would want to avenge Stannis? Who saw his death by the hands of Brienne? Also, aside from Pod and Theon, nobody else knows she is helping Sansa, so what kind of consequence do you want?
Showing what the lust for power can do to a otherwise good-ish man?

Because he imitated Bran's change and haircut

Maybe he is sick of it now

Because he has a refound sense of self, and he remembers his name now, and that he is an Ironborn

This is a good idea as well

Why did Brienne not know who the The Hound is?

Why are showfans okay with plot holes???

I dunno, Shireen did teach him how to read.

Your post hurt to read.

Look user, I know you'd like /got/ where we post ASOIAF artwork from Reddit and just repeat opinions of show-hating vloggers, but you aren't going to get that here, no matter how hard you spam and act like triggered child having a fit. You can join moderated GoT discussions, or make your own board on this chan. This isn't a place for you obviously. You'll be happier elsewhere.

I can't answer these

Maybe he is tired of mourning the old Stannis now, after all the shit he endured because of the follower of the Lord of Light Stannis

Just think yourself in Davos' boots and you'll understand it.

You seem mad, but I am answering his questions, which is more GOT discussion than you're delivering.

The only way your posts make sense is if I accept the complete character assassination D&D pulled off on him, and I will refuse that until the day I die.

He isn't interested in your answers though, sorry. Can't you see what he's doing? I discuss GoT/ASOIAF all the time otherwise.

In the past I've coexisted with you Maisie-posters just fine, but you've gotten way too fucking arrogant.

WHY IS HODOR NOW NAMED WILLAS INSTEAD OF WALDER???

Why do D & D change things for no reason?

Umm, was Brienne in King's Landing? I think she grew up far from there, and she wasn't fighting in any war, she was the honor guard of Renly. How and when was she supposed to meet the Hound? Maybe she heared of him, but in that momemnt, where they met, she only saw him as the obstacle between her and Arya

Wanting to rule everything isn't lust for power? Melisandre promises him everything, and he wants it.

No, he didn't want to rule, you motherfucker. He had to rule. There's a world of difference there.

ASOIAF isn't holy scripture, show Stannis and books Stannis are two different characters, what's wrong with that? Your prefered version of him is still alive in the novels, which you prefer.

Show only fags are going to become much worse now that D&D has to write everything themselves, and they will defend it.

Why did Alliser want Jon's body???

Why did he leave it out in the snow if he wanted to do something with it later???

We showfags doesn't give a crap about the books, and I guess there's more of us? So we "pay" for the show they are making, they are supposed to meet our standards - just look at the tumblr rape whine. Do you think any of them read any of the books?

Too bad no one except his small entourage and Ned wanted him too, then.

I'm sure him winning the North back from the Boltons has nothing to do with that, right?
Well, not in the show.

Somebody, maybe you, amybe another guy, in the previous thread, which had like 2 Maisies AT THAT TIME, started to attack me for no reason at all. Namecalling, namecalling, then tantrum.

I didn't even posted a bloody Maisie. And we are too arrogant?

Sure smells like reddit

Uh, not reading the books isn't allowed in these threads, did you forget?

Yeah, they are two different characters, just like Cersei and Jaime and Jon and Dany and Tyrion and Roose and Doran and the Sand Snakes and Sansa and Littlefinger and Gendry and Cat and…

I meant at the time of War of The Five Kings.

Nobody wanted him, except all the book fans.

He was the King who cared.

I am Gifmaker, I wrote that post. You think I am from reddit?

I can understand the bookfags. I would do the same with a Wheel of Time-series. Just they can't make D&D go back to a source material they have gotten so far away from already…

Oh yeah, instead people wanted that total shit Renly to rule.
Those guys are totally trustworthy, right?

You pretend you're the only posters here, you act as if everyone should know each different namefags personality, you discuss shit which has nothing to do with the show, you post Maisie when she isn't relevant, you defend D & D to no end.

Stop acting like assclowns and I'll stop spamming fat chicks

Why can Tyrion talk to Dragons?

Why is Tyrion a Gary Stu?

Not going to argue with that, many, if not all characters were adjusted in some ways. Most of them were simplified, some were handled badly (LF) and some were improved for the purpose of television.

...

If you ask me, it's a shitty adaptation if they have to change so many characters and events, but nobody's asked me.

...

Anybody could have talked to them, he was just the first person who tried it.

Daenerys saw them as just a sign of how awesome she was, a mere extension of her right to rule.

Of the list of characters they handled badly LF doesnt come to mind that fast, what do you think they handled badly?

If you read the books those scenes are actually really fucking good.

...

I would have loved seeing Dinklage do that, actually.

Well, it was nice to have ontopic discussion, and my brain is pretty electrified now, but it's 1:29 and I have work tomorrow, so it's time to leave…

Last thing, these are all my posts:

See? 0 Maisies, 100% on topic. I am capable of this.

Maisiefags aren't much different. Good night, /got/!

In the books he was actually smart.

0 Maisies, 100% on topic, and 100% retarded.

Well yeah but compared to how much they butchered other characters LF seems to be one of the least butchered.

I didn't ask you, but I'm interested in your opinions. How exactly is the amount of changes relavant to quality of adaptation? Is sticking strictly to source material the only correct attitude?

See →
Not only CIA's hilarious acting, but the writing regarding that character is far from D&D's best.

I did, twice, seriously considered writing a reaction to Fatman's football blog demanding my pre-order ADWD money back.

Haha..

Good night, thanks for you contribution :)

At least book Littlefinger doesn't have superpowers.

Why have a map at the beginning of your show when geography is meaningless since everyone can teleport?

Well, think about it this way.
Every time I see a show-only scene of, oh, let's say, Renly and Loras talking about something while getting ready to pound each other in the ass, I wonder why they couldn't have just included something from the books instead, since it would usually make more sense contextually. Oftentimes the response I get is "because that doesn't work on television", and I really don't give a fuck if it does or not, because conventional television is garbage.

Actually dont mind changes, I still watch the walking dead even though that show is pretty mediocre. Its that they completely butcher characters while having them going through the motions they did in the book. Its the cliches they keep doing making this show so predictable.

I won't change my posting habits to suit your personal preferences, sorry. Neither will Sir Gifmaker. /got/ survived fine without you and your useless whiny inputs since Septermber, and it will do just as fine after S6 ends. Feel free to stop replying to any post that has Maisie attached to it. I'll do the same with your spam :)

It's nice that you will never realize how annoying you truly are.

Within the context of the novels, surely. Television show doesn't have the space to develop every character or situation as detailed as 4500 page books can do. It's a visual medium, so the storytelling has to be corresponding. Sorry for giving you basically the same >but le television answer you always get, but that's my view on it. Just like yours is the strict comparison to source material.
What about other "recent" HBO series, like Rome or Deadwood? Did you dislike them too?

How did you make it past Season 2? Haha. Dropped it after S2 ended, did it get better?
Such as? The final act of Stannis' arc was an established trope for example, you're right. But subjectively I prefered it to book Stannis plot

I managed to endure season 2, but upon rewatching it I noticed it wasnt that bad. Sure, not a lot happened but I think most people stopped because they had to wait a week between episodes. In my opinion it does get better, it still has plenty of retarded moments with the usual convenient stealthy zombie sneaking up on people but its fun to watch.

I honestly get the feeling D&D just want to be done with this show, like they're tired and they're just wrapping all this shit up so they can move on.

How to spot reddit:

What was so wrong with Renly? Isn't diplomacy the key element to ruling? Wouldn't a Tyrell puppet on a throne be better option than someone unwilling to make compromises, clinging to all the past wrongs and conflicts and trying to enforce foreign religion?

Thats just the start

He was unscrupulous and vain

Renly a shit

2/9, if you don't count "le fat pink mast xDDD" and the other one as considering it hilariously bad writing, if so, make it 4/9. Does that make me Reddit? Please say no

Elaborate. My issues with Stannis as a King were listed later in that post you were replying to.
Baratheons took the throne by force just a decade and half ago, so could have Renly.
Those are hardly fatal flaws for a ruler.

Example set by their brother 15 or so years ago.

But that's fucking wrong, you dipshit.
Robert had complete legitimacy on his side when he went to war. Renly had his fucking ego. If you need me to explain further, then I will.

He didn't. Just because the ruler is mad, kills people and >muh Lyanna gives you no legitimacy to make yourself a King.

Why does Davos believe Jon can be brought back to life, but doesn't believe in any Gods?

Why is show Davos an atheist?

Why are D & D so butthurt by religion and shoehorn their own personal beliefs into a universe that has actual magic?

jesus christ kill yourself you fucking tumor

But that's no argument, user. I'm willing to admit I'm wrong if you prove it. Insulting people just because they have other opinions than you is childish.

So would you recommend picking up TWD again?
I didn't mind those, it's a silly show with zombies after all, fun is the major factor there. S2 lacked that.

It's a possibility, certainly. Especially if we consider they're planning to cut down the remaining two seasons to 13 episodes and all the deaths packed in S6 so far. But can you blame them? They've been doing this for 8 or so years now and their workrate is industrious.

Bullshit.

>the king mocks him, kills him and his son in a cruel display in open court
>then demands Jon Arryn cough up Ned and Robert, his wards, just so he can kill them too
>Jon rightfully tells the king to fuck off and everyone with a lick of sense figures out that this means any of them could be killed by their king with no trial at any time

If you honestly think Robert's Rebellion wasn't 100% justified then you are a fucking fool.

If you didnt mind those I would recommend picking it up again, finish season 2 and have fun watching the rest

See, that's a world of difference in your reasoning now. You've (or other user) used the term "legitimate" → before, and by definition, Robert's claim wasn't legitimate. Justified, perhaps, but that's a slippery slope. Renly could have used the "justified" rhetoric to claim Stannis would have been a sh*tty ruler and a disaster for realm. Exaggeration of course, but people and nobles would eat it up, because they prefered Renly.

I will reiterate: Aerys lost the right to rule when killed the Starks. I can't think of a better reason for a rebellion.

I trust you user, finished S2 back when it aired so starting with S3 during summer. Thanks. Which season is the best in your opinion?

According to whom? The Starks, Baratheons, most of the realm really. So it's not legitimacy, only justification based on mutual consensus and some unwritten moral codex. If Renly had won and defeated (killed even) Stannis, he would justify it too. With half-lies perhaps, but he was charismatic and popular enough to sell it.

newfag leave

Do not bully Reddit, they're here for the on-season, we'll try to cope with them for some weeks.

Are you retarded?
Aerys turned into a tyrant. Period. Renly couldn't justify anything because he is one of the aggressors. Robert's Rebellion happened in defense to a monarch becoming a tyrant.
Are you saying they should have let themselves be ruled by a man with no regard for the law or ancient customs?

2 months of leddit? fuck off

no difference between an absolute monarch and a tyranr

Fuck off.

I'm not defending Aerys, just trying to be objective and logical here. Does killing a couple of men who could have easily labeled as traitors turn you into a tyrant?
Renly could have used very similiar rhetoric desribing Stannis, just change law to religion and exaggerate his autism and use the incest rumour to justify overthrowing Lannisters. Again, not saying what's right and what's wrong, just why pointing out the reasoning you're using is doubtful.

It's true, you rude fucktard.

...

topfuckingkek

Haha :) We'll stop laughing when it actually happens

Good night, /got/!

night, maisiefag

night, maisiefag.

...

>denied his trial by combat and executed without trial
Yes, you fucking idiot, I am saying that turns you into a goddamn tyrant.

Why so triggered?

Because I apparently have to explain how a king that murders anyone he wants is a tyrant.

...

Not to mention that originally the Targaryans were "illegitimate" and "unjustified" until they burned everything with dragons. The words are meaningless, power is only for those who take it. Fuck the concepts of legitimacy and justification in regards to absolute power

Almost, you post one hobgoblin at the end

You don't belong here, you have to go back.

It could be bearable if only you post Arya Stark pictures, but you only post shit that belongs in /waifuist/.

You're are not different from the gay pedophiles who post images of Chandler Riggs

Stop speaking in third person. It's annoying

reddit is back

Yeah, guess what? In a world without dragons, it's probably best to have some kind of societal standard beyond "the strongest wins", since the absence of power allows for that.
But fine, be a cuck and defend the Mad King and Renly "hurr imma king" Baratheon some more. I can't for the life of me imagine why.

I can see.

It's always summer, under the sea. I know, I know. Oh, oh, oh.

Will we ever find out what this semen demon was about?

He was a faggot.

No, of course not. Most people have forgotten about her

He looked so fucking weird.

TELL ME, WHY DOES SHE WEAR THE MASK?!

Ramsay mailed his cock back to Pike, so Theon has to go home to try and sew it back on.

Jesus christ pay attention.

You are the most cancerous poster, dude. I recognise your posts. So distinctively cancerous.

...

Promise me, user…

You were already exposed multiple times, newfag. Give up already. Or feel free to continue your lolcow tantrum.

What's the one thing that the show did that annoyed you the most? The one thing that you just can't forgive.
For me, it's probably removing all resemblance of political intrigue and general complexity in place of boring television cliches and "SHOCKING DEATHS". Game of Thrones was a good show for the first few seasons, and I am not totally against OC content, it's just that most of the OC has been utter shit. I understand the necessities of adaption, but let's face it, the show has taken a massive dive in quality since the showrunners began to think they could write something interesting.

Perhaps so. But you have to admire their complexity and scope. Game of Thrones has nothing of that anymore, and is just a bland shell of a more interesting world and story. See:
"Dorne" in the title credits.

This is a good image.

It's sad really, what made the story special was Martin's rich world and everything that was going on behind the scenes. I loved Season 1, and enjoyed the show up to about Season 4. Now I'm basically just watching it so I can complain about it…holy shit that's pathetic.

I wish George would just finish the books.

...

But user, we all say BRAVO to D&D's writing :^)

Dat Ass

Guess I never get an answer, but still: Why? Because you say so? You want me to blend in, hate on the show, stop posting Maisie and be ontopic all the time. I did almost everything, just for once, and the "reward" was the same when I did everything as usual. Does this supposed to encourage me to change my ways?

And again, namecalling…

How are they teleporting? For example, Arya can't do that for sure

If you look past the picture you find some text. Like this: or this
or this
How is this text related to pedophilia, waifuist or Maisie? But you don't care, because you refuse to look past a picture. And you call others retarded here…

Magic =/= gods. He saw what he saw. Did he saw any gods? Nope. Did he saw the shadow baby and the other shit Melly did for Stannis? Yepp. Isn't that enough?

That go back is useless here. You have no power over me, and as I said, I am here since 2013. I came from this bloody site. Where do I go back, huh? ALso who the flying fuck are you to tell me what to do and where to do it?

Nobody cared who she was, until she put on the mask

Those 2 guys always come in and spread hate, lies and bullshit…

Even the fucking Stark children knew who The Hound was when they arrived in season 1. Two towering brothers being Tywin lackeys is something noteworthy, especially for someone who is equally tall.

Doesn't Tyrion stop wondering where whores go like, a third into ADWD?

You probably have me confused for the other guy. I just made that post because I noticed I had responded to all of your posts calling you a retarded showfag.

Yeah, he pretty much starts lusting after the other dwarf pig rider

Also, I fucking hate what they have done to tyrion in the show
In the books he was
I mean, it would actually illustrate the conflict between Tywin and Tyrion, since I doubt as many people would sympathise with a fucking abomination.

They also made him a pussy in the show for some reason. In the books he fought with a moderate success, killing a few people instead of being immediately knocked out.

Same here friend. The show has turned to absolute trash in terms of storytelling and characterization, but it's still cool seeing the world in life, as limited as it is.

Holy shit this. I know it's very difficult to convey this on television, but every time I read the books I pick up on something new. Like Melly probably knowing that Jon was going to get stabbed, and deliberately wasn't there for the Pink Letter, even though the Pink Letter was more than likely actually for her. The shit happening in and around Winterfell. Basically everything in King's Landing and Meereen. It's just amazing how detailed Martin's world actually is.

I am so excited for the Winds of Winter, I know it's a meme but I genuinely think Martin will finish the book soon.

I'm pretty sure that battle (Green Fork? Red Fork? I forget) was cut because of budget issues. Not an excuse, but a reason.

I thought it was bullshit how we'll Tyrion did in battles in the books

he's a fucking dwarf, yet he kills more people than fucking Theon

*well

I guess D&D just stopped giving a fuck and went with the assumption that their audience has a 12-year-old's understanding of politics, which is probably true anyway.

I think martin let the show get ahead of the books for one reason, to see what works, whats predictable nad what is shit. He's using the show as a simulator for his books. Hopefuly he looks at how book fans feel about the show.

But probably he's just a fat fuck who wants shekels.

dual weilding ser arthur dayne triggered me hard

The show was dumbed down from the books mostly because thats the only way to make a fantasy show appealing to the filthy masses.

...

a two handed milky white greatsword forged from a fallen star somehow wasn't cool enough [spoiler]I don't claim to know plebs but I'm sure even the lowliest of peasant scum would have appreciated the Sword of the Morning

there are way too many characters in this show

all i need to do is read these autistic posts to know i dont have any interest in the actual show

this is what five year onward from the first season?

did the dragons ever show up and does there exist a sex scene without a flaccid dick in it?

but even the show isn't consistent with itself in this regard. in earlier seasons killing the wardern of the north fractured the entire kingdom, now both the warden of the south and the north are murdered without any similar consequence.

Can someone tell me how to embed a youtube video? I made something for you guys, and want to share, but never wanted to post a youtube video before now, and can't figure it out…

Can't you just select it as you would any other file?

you need an Holla Forums Gold account to embed

just click show post options & limits and paste the url where it says embed

oops meant for

Thanks fam, had to change site-wide option firsts.

What, do you want me to delete my posts or something? I've been coming here for about a year since halfchan got unbearable for me. Just never posted a youtube video before, and the embed option was hidden.

You posted the same video with the same comment on halfchan like twenty minutes ago

Just for exposure. I don't read their threads.

Except that everyone loved the first three seasons or so. Killing off the designated hero sounds like something the filthy masses would hate, and yet the Red Wedding was a major event that everyone loved, in hindsight.

If GoT was as shitty as it is now from the get go, no one would've fucking watched it.

i wish someone in hollywood would actrually have the fucking balls to make a movie or tv show out of ray feist's Magician

its way better fiction than all this clumsy political intrigue

Th-thanks for the inspiration, I guess.

"Hi! I'm just a plain old, everyday Midwestern girl that lives a normal life. However, while my outward tastes are relatively simple, my inner thoughts are filled with lusty thoughts of big, strong, powerful monsters having their way with beautiful maidens.

Almost all of my stories fall under the Monster Sex genre, and come from the inner desires that spring from my mind.

Thank you for looking at my author page and thank you for your support. I hope you enjoy these tales of beautiful maidens exploring their lust for these powerful creatures as much as I had writing them."

Reminder that this was all inspired by a post in the general a few days ago.

>CAPTCHA: R L J jvl

The first three seasons had a lot of action in them in the books. There were less characters so the plebs could easily follow it without hurting their tiny brains.

After blackwater and the wall things become more politicaly oriented, less action but a wider, richer westeros is exposed (in the books there are lots of fascinating tidbits like the quiet isle and Merret Frey), but this has no bad pussy and dual-weilding knights, thus the shitfest we have now

yeah, he was so fascinating I have no memory of who he is

there's obviously no point in trying to adapt gurm's diarrhea of the mouth/world building bullshit, but suddenly relegating 99% of the westerosi political landscape to NPC status so that their high society soap can play out is pretty fucking lame.

The POV of a storm of sword's epilouge where lady stoneheart was introduced. His chapter had a lot on the inner workings of the Frey family.

I hope Dorn gets glassed by the dragons this season. Bokkfags, how good are the chances?

Very bad. Dorne was the only kingdom that beat aegon. Aegon lost 1 of his sister-wife and her dragon there.

Dorne didn't "beat" Aegon, they just surrendered before their country got glassed by dragons

They'll probably go full SJW and make Dhorne the designed gud refoogy strong womyn faction. There will be no repercussions for their actions.
t. person who doesn't read the books

They didnt beat shit, they got lucky once and were still fucked because there was more than one dragon.

No. Just no.

Get your hand on a PDF version of "a history of ice and fire".

i was lucky enogh to get the first printing of the book, hoping ir will be worth some shekels after the gurm dies

Now the four bastards are rulers? Unless they declare war they should suffer immediate sucession war or/and economic collapse. Their only chance is that Dany gets her shit together and glases them with her dragons to redeem the land.[envisions normandy landing like invasion with dragon]

I'm pretty sure in the books Dorne was being set up to be Targaryen loyalists. who knows where D&D will go with it though. they pretty much rewrote the Dorne plotline.

Aegon agreed to peace terms soon after Rhaenyra died.

Also a bunch of other stuff, tl;dr is Dorne fought a war of attrition and won. Aegon never got the set-piece battle he wanted. He only succeeded in burning castles but never pacified the cities and towns, and Aegon lost alot of men due to the climate.

Dorne ceded the war because they knew they'd never win. Instead they patiently waited, brewing their poison, for the day when they could take their revenge.

Everything about the Dornish is subtle, slow, and calculated.

Dorne is a sparsely populated desert. Dragons were at their best against fortifications or massed armies in grasslands.

The Dornish operated as skirmishers, so Dragons don't have that advantage, and Aegon didn't go and start obliterating castles or nuking their farmland. He might have, but he received a letter from Dorne which he immediately burned, and never talked about invading them again. The theory is that they had his sister hostage.

What is bullshit is the idea that a conventional army of the seven kingdoms would lose in Dorne, which did happen a few times. For one thing there's no reason not to simply grab the coasts by naval invasion and force the people inland into the shitty desert. Dorne is amazingly not a naval power so it should be easy to dominate their coastline.

But GRRM is a hippie so he believes guerilla tactics > everything in warfare.

I'd pay to see that

what did they ceede? Dorne remained independent until daeron brought dorne into rhe realm via marriage and diplomacy, and even then dorne had more rights than any realm in westeros.

Stop pulling stuff out of your ass.

Just glass the watersuply and imbargo food from mainland.

So that's your personal opinion then (an opinion I share with you btw), but such argumentation has no place in discussion regarding legitimacy, the original topic of this conversation you're trying to avoid. By the same standards Joffrey was a tyrant too, yet no one had the legitimate right to kill him and take his place, not Stannis, not Renly. Not unless they could have proved the incest, but how could they?
Actually, knowing GRRM's fondness for cheap plot devices, it would be enough.

This was exactly my point the whole time. Renly had the ambition and force, Stannis had claim. It wasn't the kosher attitude towards Stannis perhaps, but it wouldn't necessarily make Renly a bad ruler either.

No one is defending Mad King or Renly, user. Just discussing ASOIAF from other point of view than chan's status quo. But anything questioning Stannis' claim or abilities seems to have personal effect on you, so I'll stop.

Okay.

I already explained this, "Sir" is a title given by Kingfag to exceptional /got/ posters, it's not up to us to change it or up to you to question His Grace.
I'm Sir Maisiefag, Hand of the Kingfag, pleased to meet you user :)

Couldn't agree more, metaposting is the worst posting. But when user posts blatant lies, I can't help myself but correct them.

10/10 lel

Wow rude

And yet /got/ Anons say there should be at least twice as many of them.
If you've only seen S1, you should definitely give it another try. S2 will most likely disappoint you, but it only gets better from that point on. Entire S4 is fantastic.

Sure, they are big guys now, but not going to spoil anything for you.

All kinds of sex scenes, although they really toned it down in recent seasons.

...

...

And where was Tywin when Sandor and Brienne met? Where was Gregor? There are no more big guys in the whole of Westeros?

...

But it's my third one and I'm also rewriting because the first draft was bad

Hi :) Actually, it was Pod who identified the Hound when they first met, before the fight. And Pod knew him form King's Landing, he was Tyrion's squire there.

Wait, you are me as well?

Tehn I can be online 24/7?

See? That's what I'm saying. She never saw him before. Maybe she heared his name and description, but in the current situation,. that didn't amttered. Also it was a awesome fight
Hello

Good luck with it, how is it going? Is your third book the one preparing to get published, or was it the second?

It's the first that is in the prints right now. The third is going well. It has dancing in it

Naturally, just being six and half feet tall guy in the middle of nowhere doesn't mean anything. Stark kids knew in advance Hound was going to come to Winterfell. But you know who started that discussion. user got super triggered that we dare to to point out logical flaws in >F*ck D&D memes and post Maisies so he started spamming everything he considers bad in the show with fat girls, most of it he heard or read somewhere else most likely, and parroted back without any critical thinking.

Congratulations! So the first one will be officially released soon? What's the topic of the third one?

It's okay. Most of the people here consider the series to be shit and the writers to be shit. If you try to save them by thinking, you are as equal as bad as they are…

Though I think Brienne doesn't really got such a high education as the Stark kids, because she wasn't her father's favourite.

Wait… She was born as a lady and she became a fighter, and everyone considers her ugly. Is she Arya from the future? Will Arya be the second Brienne?

Be right back, 25 minutes…

He rode through the streets of the city,
down from his hill on high,
O'er the wynds and the steps and the cobbles,
he rode to a woman's sigh.
For she was his secret treasure,
she was his shame and his bliss.
And a chain and a keep are nothing,
compared to a woman's kiss

For hands of gold are always cold, but a woman's hands are warm…

Brienne is Lord of Tarth's only surviving child and an heir, so it's fair to assume she did receive at least basic education by Maester, but Hound isn't really anybody noteworthy, just Joffrey's bodyguard. Stark kids knew about him because Ned or Maester Luwyn told them about Sandor most likely as a curiosity before the royal visit in Winterfell. As you said, Brienne maybe knew about him, but he was sh*tting behind the rock during the exchange between her and Arya, and told just one sentence before Pod identified him, so she probably didn't recognize him as fast. It's natural, you know, human. Something user can't comprehend.
Brienne is what Arya wanted to become before the events of S1, now she's too traumatized and psychotic to take the path of a knight. Although Arya was mocked for her horseface, she wasn't really ugly, just dirty and unkept most of the time. Book Brienne is described as much uglier than Gwendoline, the actress.

How lovely :)

"The boar's great tusks, they boded ill,
for good King Robert's health.
And the beast was every bit as fat,
as Robert was himself.
But our brave King cried, 'Do your worst,
I'll have your ugly head,'
You're nowhere near as murderous as
the lion in my bed."
King Robert lost his battle,
and he failed his final test,
The lion ripped his balls off,
And the boar did all the rest."

Oh you…

So she becomes magic facechanging killer girl

BRAVO D&D

Do you people expect littlefinger saving Jon Snow and the wildlings once they can't defeat Ramsay and his less than 20 good men?

Same as you with the show. Many characters are acting outside of it is expected for them. Davos will never ask Melisandre for help, Roose will never let down his guard so easy knowing how unpredictable is his bastard and even Stannis.

My fear is that the fatso dies before completing A Dream of Spring

That's her current course, but who knows what's awaiting her in the future. Remember that she hid Needle, so she doesn't seem ready to give up her personality and memories yet. But Arya is Gurm's wife's favorite character and seems like a very submissive guy, so I'd bet she's safe in the novels at least :)

(Me)
*and he seems like a very submissive guy

...

She probably will follow the Sheev path, learning everything she can from Jaqen H'ghar and when is the moment of losing her memories and personality is near She will kill him

Same with actress portraying her. I don't get why there are people here infatuated with her.

D&D writing is the byproduct of executive meddling and a hunger for ratings. They made unnecessary changes to the plot.

...

Would you?

That's exactly what I expect as well. Maisie even mentioned it in some recent interview, something along the lines "she will use the skills against her teachers", quite a big spoiler. Notice the plural, teachers, not just the Waif who is as good as dead.

But Maisie is really clean and well kept in real life :)

For you

→ (Me)

There were generals before you made those, there was even a general thread about the white skeltals invasion in season 5 and there were good discussion threads until, well, you arrive.

As seen on the season finale, probably the waif and Jaqen are the same. Probably Arya kill Jaqen while he is the waif

What is this? An user standing up to the stupid Maisiefag's historical revisionism?
And yes, user, you in particular are now "the stupid Maisiefag". You're the dumbest one of them all and you'll defend every last turd D&D plops into your mouth.

They can't bring plots from the books that could have sense and left out based characters like Quentyn Martell, lady Stoneheart and even old and young Griff

Oh yeah, let's cut half of the cool characters so we can have more scenes of Renly and Loras buttfucking!

That's why I said "these" generals, meaning the eternal line of generals starting since September, along the one you are posting in right now. Of course there have been generals before them, but I only ever saw them mentioned in relation to slow pace, no OC, nothing else. Current /got/ started by the three of us is the most popular thread on Holla Forums, whether you like it, or not. You really enjoy metaposting, don't you?

Seems fitting the other side of the argument should be represented as well, because I've come to terms with the fact Anons will worship any senile mess GRRM will cough out. Not even bothering to reply to every post now, just what I consider interesting.

Once again,
Me personally, I strongly disliked Quentyn, LSH and fAegon so cutting them is a huge improvement for me. TV series benefited from cleaning up the convulted mess ASOIAF became in its latest two installments.

Get fucked. Enjoy defending this absolute tripe they put to television.

Rude.

With an even worse convoluted mess and characters behaving outside their defined amd well established personalities.

I'm sad that D&D left out Victarion Greyjoy just to push Yara and Theon who are not in any way worthy rivals to Euron in Pyke's Kingsmoot.

I don't give a fuck, nigger, because every time you post you know just what to say to piss me the fuck off.

I'm the rudeness brotha.

You think that retard cares about established characters and personalities? His whole argument is "that's just your opinion, man". He's totally okay with characters being turned into the exact opposite of their book counterparts, and I find that utterly baffling.

I'd welcome Victarion, especially if they kept his "autistic barbarian" personality, but they left out Ironborn plot for S5 so we can assume there's no more time for many more new characters, Euron is more crucial to central plot. Remember, only 20 episodes left for the entire GoT to wrap things up, including the remainder of S6.

You might be right, actually. Most of the user posters here are ASOIAF fanboys, so more sensitive approach to discussing the source material would be in place probably. Even Sir Gifmaker implied it yesterday, I'll consider it.

Exactly, as a reply to
statements. Are they anything else than user's subjective opinions?

Perfect, haha.

Where did Bronn go?

...

Is he chilling with Gendry and Ramsay's dogs now?

...

Maybe they can find Stannis and Jaime's characterizations on that boat, too.

Gendry comming back in S6 user, part of the Riverlands gang "strayed from its original path".

I'm not entirely sure where people are getting this from.
Are we really going to the Riverlands after all?
I don't want this. They already killed Rorge and Biter, meaning there's no way they're going to have one of the most horrifying scenes of the series in the show.
And show Brienne is a fucking brute, anyway.

Would I what?

The Drowned Rudeness

I did?

I'm ready

There were casting characters for the Riverlands plotline back in autumn, it would take too much time to find the article on WotW but it was posted and discussed in /got/ at the time. Jaime actor was spotted on Riverlands set as well, the siege of Riverrun is supposed to be included. The casting description said "gang strayed from its original path" (clearly BWB) and one guy is supposed to "serve a horror he isn't fully aware of" LSH after all? Gendry appearing there is just a speculation, but it would make perfect sense. Where else would he go? Even though they sold him to Melly.

Kill the Maisie in show based on your book, produced by you :)

Something similiar →
It made me think a bit, honestly. Anons are obviously very devoted to GRRM, something I can't understand, but should learn to respect. They are very sensitive to ASOIAF criticism, so I'll try to tone it down. See how wise your words are, Sir Gifmaker?

If the role requires it, then yes
Cool. I never thought of that
I root for King Gendry and Queen Arya!
Also your House will never join House WIlliams

...

You've emraced the Maisie-teachings, wisdoms is yours.

jdimsa ;_;
Shouldn't we start our own house, House Maisiefriends? You even suggested the words like two months ago
Truth or clams!

...

...

I wouldn't blame him tbh

STONEHEART FUCKING CONFIRMED
TAKING ANY AND ALL BETS ON HOW BAD DAN AND DABID FUCK IT UP

Its caitlyn with mascara on

...

That would be nice
Man, I really spread pearls in these threads

I'd really wanna know, how anyone would react in this situation. Does it worth spitting into your own eyes? Probably it would…

Why does anybody like Victarion Greyjoy? He is cucked as fuck.

I don't. I don't veen know who he is

Nah m8

General were only on season and they were slow.

Because he's a bumbling fucking stooge, that's why.

who cares keep puttin up them thick bitches

>The heat of Dorne's deserts also worked to the Martells' advantage, as Dorne's arid climate cannot easily support large invading armies. Losing many men due to attrition, ultimately even Aegon the Conqueror decided to withdraw from Dorne, to focus on reining in the other six newly conquered kingdoms.
>Daeron I himself was killed attempting to put down the insurrection, and after only four short years House Martell once again ruled an independent Dorne.
>A few decades later (a little over a century before the War of the Five Kings), King Daeron II the Good managed to finally unite Dorne with the Iron Throne - not through conquest, but by voluntary marriage-alliance on equal terms. Daeron II married the sister of the Prince of Dorne, and the Prince of Dorne married Daeron II's sister. This special, semi-autonomous status allowed Dorne to retain several special privileges, such as the Martells continuing to style themselves as "Prince" or "Princess" instead of "Lord Paramount" and continuing their practice of gender-blind primogeniture.

Stop making shit up and keep quiet, showfag.

Don't say that too loudly, you'll upset them.

I want Dany to sit on my face with her fat ass

Dorne never stood a chance against Aegon's dragons. All the info you posted is nothing more than after-the-fact propaganda. Dorne surrendered, and that's the reality.

Are you implying AWOIAF isn't canon?

AWOIAF is literal fanfiction

Literally canon fanfiction, you mean.

...

Just cause you don't like it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

...

I think it will work in the opposite way, seeing the series completed by D&D will fuck his imagination over since it's no longer virgin territory and a blank page to be written and he will have no choice but to think about the final book in relation to the show.

So what you're proposing is that none of the material in the books matters at all since it's fantasy, and that means you can pick and choose whatever ideas you want to be how the series works.
Internal consistency? What the fuck is that?

...

Yes, I'm glad you can quote me.

...

...

...

...

So are you just going to admit you don't know what you're talking about and Dorne never surrendered to the Targaryans or are you just going to continue this tirade of proud ignorance?

Just passing by to say this is not an argument. This is namecalling again.

not the user you were talking to, just laughing at your fedoras

I swear, trying to have a conversation with these retards is like trying to squeeze water from a stone.

So, yes, you are going to continue this tirade of proud ignorance, then.

...

Things I would cut if I was the Jew pulling D&D's strings:
She's completely pointless to the overall story, she's just dead weight that never pays off. I guess they included her for tits and ass but it wasn't worth it in the long run. She still haven't done shit. She can pretty much be removed entirely without breaking anything else.
They're hardly in the show but the few times they do use them they're completely pointless. The retarded attempt at saving Reek, the pointless succession dealio… Why even bother?
Complete waste of time, king cripple does nothing and nothing really comes out of that place at all. The queens inbred daughter could have been killed by faceless men or whatever instead.
Should have died after killing his pop, everything after that was just filler.
Why is this Mary Sue even in there? Unlike even the pointless filler characters she doesn't even interact with the rest of the cast or make an impact on the story. Should have died with her dad trying to defend him as an edgy fedora when he was about to be executed. The Hound should have died during the siege due to his fear of fire.

I can get everything else in your post, but what?
He was scared shitless, was he not supposed break and run?

Let's say he loses his shit due to flames and get executed for treason or whatever since he leaves his post. I think that would work. Might be able to just cut him out completely but I can't remember if he actually was used in the story before the siege, it was a long time since I watched the early seasons.

But then who else is Sansa going to make up memories of kissing?

The monkeys with suits of HBO will be extending the series if they saw this trend of breaking audience records keeps going. Also I don't think they don't want to leave a open slot that can be used by AMC's The Walking Dead.

...

We hit the fugging bumplimit again
