Thought I'd do a little thread honoring killed comrades, of all tendencies
Ernesto Guevara (1928-1967) Emiliano Zapata (1879-1919) Rosa Luxemburg (1871-1919) Salvador Allende (1908-1973) Thomas Sankara (1949-1987) Leon Trotsky (1879-1940) Vladimir Lenin?[don't know how plausible is his alleged poisoning but thought I'd put him either way (1870-1924) Nikolai Bukharin (1888-1938)
And many, many other comrades, which if I kept going this list would be eternal
It's totally false. I've only seen some conspiracy theory-tier Russian historian promote it.

Aleksandr Ilyich Ulyanov (1866 – 1887) Lenin's older brother, executed after an attempted assassination of the Tsar. His death has radicalized Lenin.
"Terror…. is the only form of defence by which a minority strong only in its spiritual strength and the consciousness of its righteousness can combat the physical power of the majority… Among the Russian people there will always be found many people who are so devoted to their ideas and who feel so bitterly the unhappiness of their country that it will not be a sacrifice for them to offer their lives." – Ulyanov's final address to the court.
Chase Howard
Trotsky deserved it, and I'm not even a ☭TANKIE☭.

Tbf, I understand that it radicalised Lenin, but there's no doubt that if anyone tried to assassinate a Bolshevik he would not hesitate to use the same punishment.
It could obviously be argued that one execution is done to deter opposition to oppression, while the other was to deter opposition to an attempt at emancipation.
Still, interesting that that radicalised him, considering it's a standard response to any attempted execution of a leader.

Tibor Szamuely (1890 – 1919) Illegal communist, newspaper editor, People's Commissar for Military Affairs under the short lived Hungarian Soviet Republic, leader of the "Lenin Boys". It is unknown whether he was forced to commit suicide when captured by Austrian border guards or shot by them.
"Everywhere counter-revolutionaries run about and swagger; beat them down! Beat their heads where you find them! If counter-revolutionaries were to gain the upper hand for even a single hour, there will be no mercy for any proletarian. Before they stifle the revolution, suffocate them in their own blood!" – wrote Szamuely in the pages of Red News as they prepared to rebel against the Social Democrats.

Nicola Sacco (1891 – 1927) Bartolomeo Vanzetti (1888 – 1927) Italian-American anarchists who were falsely convicted of murdering a guard and paymaster and executed by electric chair. Their show trial incited large strikes and protests throughout the country.
"I would not wish to a dog or to a snake, to the most low and misfortunate creature of the earth, I would not wish to any of them what I have had to suffer for things that I am not guilty of. But my conviction is that I have suffered for things that I am guilty of. I am suffering because I am a radical and indeed I am a radical; I have suffered because I am an Italian and indeed I am an Italian…if you could execute me two times, and if I could be reborn two other times, I would live again to do what I have done already." final statement of Vanzetti
"We, Sacco and Vanzetti, sound of body and mind, Devise and bequeath to all we leave behind, The worldly wealth we inherited at our birth, Each one to share alike as we leave this earth." excerpt from Sacco's last will

He pissed some powerful people in the oil industry and got killed for it. Sure he wasn't far left but he was still a comrade Kinda personal, but he also he gave my state public schools and universities and without him I would be in an even worse off education system

Letter of a DHKC martyr to his baby daughter
"Hello my daughter,
I call out from the mountains that rebelled against injustice and tyranny.
You are little, perhaps you do not know what daddy means. You are not old enough to read and understand what I am writing. You will understand when you grow up.
For sure, at first you will blame me, you will get angry. “Why is my father not by my side”, you will ask. The question “Why is he in the mountains, doesn’t he love me?” will come to your mind and delve into your head. Maybe you will get angry and you will say: “I don’t love my father”. Know this my girl, I am here because I love you. I am waging war. What does a father who loves his daughter do? What does someone who loves their motherland do, what should they do? Can they protect by staying aside? Can this be called love?
Certainly, it can not be love. Those who love their daughters love their motherland too. If one does not love his motherland, he doesn’t love its daughter. While our motherland is being under a concealed occupation, if our youth and children are in the bog of the drugs, gambling and prostitution, if one forgets his culture and life, and calls decadence love, then the word “love” has been empty for long time. Our love is the most beautiful. Even if it’s distant, even if it’s impossible, knowingly we go to our death for what we love. Nothing is impossible. Only what is called impossible takes some time."
Govind Pansare (1933 – 2015) Politician of the Communist Party of India (CPI), writer over 21 books, run an organisation which encouraged inter-caste marriages, supported the passing of the Anti-Superstition and Black Magic Act.
"Great men face rigid opposition in their lifetime – some even get assassinated. But if their revolutionary ideas stay alive in people’s minds, then their enemies find a novel technique to kill them once again." – Govind Pansare in his book about Shivaji Maharaj
