My friend has become a Asserist, what do I do?
This is one of my oldest friends and he over the past 4 months has been going through radical changes.
Two months ago he became a Marxist-Leninist in a matter of two weeks when he said was simply going to be a Libertarian Socialist (after formerly being an anarchist) and now he has officially become a Asserist. I fear for him, what do I, he refuses to listen to me and refuses to read any theory I present him (ironically he also refused to read any theory when he was becoming a ML too, wouldn't even read Lenin). Asserism only goes to two ways so is there any hope for him?
FYI he's not an American, but he is a Mexican.
How do I get someone off of Strasserism?

Sounds like he's not approaching the subject from a rational perspective. As such, appealing to his rational faculties as you've done won't work. I'd appeal to his emotions by threatening to cut ties with him.

Impressive, why not having shared what you you were reading? If I'm reading new theory I usually give a hint on to what I'm reading, you seem to give none. And whenever you make said new ideology posts often times it's so sudden, not a hint of change, since usually when someone changes ideology they give a hint of change

This is the only true path. I have a friend who isn't slamming through ideologies (or at least has the intelligence to not make me aware of this), but what worked for me was just asking him questions. He has gone from being a Jew to an atheist under my watchful eye and is now speaking to me occasionally of Socialism. I just asked him questions and made my positions on the matters clear, and was a good friend and never wrong. What was really the kicker I believe is that I would catch him being illogical and ask him questions, almost rubbing his nose in his logical failures. He didn't admit them of course, but I find it unlikely it didn't make him pull out the thinking emojis. My language makes it sound like I am cruel, (perhaps I am), but I didn't try to hurt him at all. Just my ramblings about what to do with your bf OP.
