What this article shows is that the same pattern develops regardless of which rats you look at. It would be capitalism if the non-carrier rats somehow convinced the carrier rats that they owned the tunnel, had the carriers bring all the food the them, and then gave a small amount of food back to the carriers. That definitely isn't what happened.
