How many of you fit this description Holla Forums?
I’m a cis, straight, able bodied, middle class white male and I’m against Idpol...
Pretty much. I'm bisexual but it's not much of a distinction.
No, I'm a poorfag and I have autism.
I guess, I don't think it should be central to our politics but I think the people who just use anti-IdPol as an excuse to refuse to acknowledge the grievances of people that aren't immediately related to class are stupid.
Yes.
No, I think feminism is good and I think it's stupid that Holla Forums tends to wince at being called feminist. Women, even in the first world contrary to anti-feminist moaning, have a lot a lot of real problems immediately related to being women and these ought to be understood and analysed.
Yes.
not white
was never a Holla Forumsfag
no problem with feminism/idpol
never liked anime
bring back flags
Me too.
you know theres a whole branch of feminism that denies science is real right
There's also a whole branch of socialism that says we should use nuclear war to destroy capitalism.
Does this mean all of socialism thought ever is bad?
eh ill go into a bit more detail over the only thing anyone cares about: I'm more for than against idpol. Main gripe being that it's far too atomized and easily coopted by capital, a lot like environmentalism(if you're familiar with zizeks critique of it). But like environmentalism, it's still true and important to find solutions.
saging this thread because we have it every day
wrong that should say BOYFRIEND haha dumbass you don't know me
bretty much.
what's the current definition of it? We never went hungry, but we've gone into debt a few times. Does it count?
Not in principle, with this I mean I agree with most of its points, I just don't think it's the right way to go for the left.
Never been a Holla Forumsfag, I was a redditor before coming here. And yes I hate fascism, my country is the birthplace of it and my grandfather was a partisan in one of the communist groups that fought against Mussoloni's regime in the post Italian invasion by the alies.
Feminism is not bad, but it becomes so when it's tainted by pure livberal ideology. I hate the shell it has become, not the ideology.
Some anime are great and I'm pretty much aromantical.
...
a thread was bumped off for this shit. This belongs in leftytrash. and no this description does not match me
Yes, but depends on how you define IdPol.
Yes and no.
Nah
Hel nah
Hell yeah
I don't watch anime but I do wish I had a s/o or at least a closer bond with some of my friends.
You just described me too.
Cis, mostly straight. I hate racism and I was never a Holla Forums cunt, though I was part of GG and the whole "anti sjw" brigade back in 2013-2014.
Not really "against" idpol. I think sometimes people focus on them too much. Occasionally they do something eyeroll inducing, but I haven't felt like they were a legitimate issue in years.
Mostly able bodied. Broke as fuck and have been since I was born into poverty.
I used to hate feminists because of my hatred for SJWs. Now I don't really care about them, most people using the label are just liberal girls in their 20's, not Anita Sarkeesian tumblrites.
Class struggle is the most important thing but I'm not bothered by people fighting neo-nazis or whatever. No reason we can't do both.
Used to be really into anime, haven't liked any new anime in years though. Same tropes over and over. And I hate most anime fans.
I've had several girlfriends. I miss having the companionship sometimes, but I also don't feel ready to trust someone with my emotions again.
Against racism* But racism works too.
FUCK. FASCISM* Fucking phone posting.
I'm cis-gendered, Bi, have high functioning autism that I've learned to disguise so no one ever knows until I tell them, I'm working class and I'm a white dude. I'm against the idpol as espoused by most of the radical and liberal left. But that doesn't mean I don't think things like racism, sexism, transphobia etc don't matter, I've been on Black Lives Matter protests for example. I hate fascists and I'm part of my local antifa group, though I went through a "DAE ess-jay-dubyoos are stoopid and evil?" phase a while back. Feminism pisses me off because I genuinely think that men are the disadvantaged gender in most of the important aspects of society. There's some anime's I like but I don't watch a lot of it, I wish I had GF.
mostly right but i'm asexual and with a mild cerebral palsy other than that i was born extremely average in my 95%+ white country.
Yes, it's mostly irellevant and only serves to give nazis a platform because dumb people think they're under attack by the gays.
I hate fascism and i always hated /new/ and later Holla Forums, my old home of /int/ was the first to be attacked by Holla Forums.
I wouldn't call it bad, i just don't care about it.
A lot of Anime is absolutely awfully paced shit. It has to be exceptional by anime standards for me to not turn it off.
Not really.
I hope you related more to the first bits than the last bit.
I might be asexual but i'm not sure and don't really care to label myself. And i'm not sure if i count as middle class but thats a meaningless bourgy label anyway
hell yeah motherfucker
I was never a polfag thankfully
I don't call myself a feminist but i'm not "against" feminism because I'd like to be more nuanced than that
you can focus on class struggle and self identify as a feminist at the same time
yeah
nah.
yes
hell yeah
I literally have been working manual labor since I was fifteen.
hell yeah
hell yeah
my ancestors killed nazis with hatchets and pitchforks, I have hated nazi filth all of my life, literal disgrace to the country.
hell yeah
Women are underpaid yet work in roughly 60% of the production in this country, and also hold many office jobs. I've seen myself in workplaces that the other sex is just as productive with modern technology, so this is a serious issue that needs to be solved. Female CEO's and buisnesswomen won't solve it though, they will perpetuate it because it is more affordable to have 60 female workers than 60 male workers, why would they put themselves into a disadvantage on the market?
yes, this is the only way to solve inequality such as the one I mentioned above, as well as various other discrepancies within society.
I hate anime
I've been married for 7 years.
Tough luck, cuck. Seems that most of Holla Forums doesn't own up to your stereotypes of it.
*Raises hand*
But I was never a Holla Forumsfag.
Well, let's see. One involves keeping sexual activities limited to members of the opposite sex, and the other involves at least occasionally pleasuring the genitals of the same sex and/or shoving things up your ass for fun.
Yeah. Not much of a distinction.
Isn't cis and straight the same thing?
Anyway, yes to all.
I would say I am against it, as long as it focuses on getting an emotional responce out of it's intended target.
I would say I hate authoritarianism, and no.
I don't care about feminism.
Woman and men are different and should be treated as such.
We should focus on being better people, as society is a reflection of the families dwelling within it.
Anime is shit, and I already have one.
thats just called not being a fag. no, im not a fag
Im about 70 lbs overweight at 240, but i can still do 5 pullups
i wish
mostly
heyyy, we got one
idk what that is, ill assume its some new-hippie thing i come here to shake my head about
i hate fascism as it was defined just before the first anti-trumper used it to describe a trumper
ive never liked politics at all
i drifted off at "fem", mind your own business
im sure theres good stories in anime, i just dont like tv
married
The practical differences between sexualities wasn't what OP what was talking about. They identified "straight" specifically because they're trying to accuse the average Holla Forums user of being what someone might call privileged.
In this context I don't feel like it's necessary to try and dodge that accusation because I have no bf, unless I specifically told them no one would have reason to treat me any different to a straight person.
Yes.
No.
Yes.
I'm more against certain specific ideas and trends, like standpoint theory, callout culture, privilege theory, cultural appropriation, and the tendency of idpolers to imply that class is simply something that white men bring up in order to derail discussions of gender and race. Aside from that I don't see why women or minorities shouldn't be allowed to call for equal rights and treatment. My bigger issue with idpol, as a materialist, is the fact that it focuses entirely on cultural appearance as opposed to the material conditions of patriarchy and white supremacy. At least for your average mainstream twitter/tumblr feminist that is.
Yes.
No. I've also never had a reddit account.
No. I don't think it's bad, just disagree on certain points for the reasons stated above. I actually like certain Feminists like Simone de Beauvoir, Shulamith Firestone, and I actually think some of this Xenofeminism stuff is interesting, even if I don't identify with it.
It's ok.
I don't currently have this problem, but all the same, solidarity to all my incel brothers! An injustice to one is an injustice to all!
Everything except these.
Unfortunately no, but thanks for caring. I hope you make it, bruv.
>I’m a cis, straight,
yup
physically fit but with mental health issues due to cop and court trauma
son of petit bourg, but earn minimum wage and work 40 hours a week.. what is dis?
yup
no
this is an extremely region dependent statement
some anime is okay, chan anime culture fucking sucks and is lame
nah i wish i had more free time to write my book
I hope you make it too, fam. Stay strong.

Bi, and yes
Sort of? I'm a dirty poorfag who's living with family, I guess they could be considered "middle class" in the sense of having a decent income and a house but not in the petit-bourg sense of the term.
Part white, part hispanic. See first question. I think certain demographics may have legit grievances that are specific to them but generally they're an indirect result of capitalism and should be addressed as such, none of this "intersectionality" or "progressive stack" bullshit.
Yes, and no, but almost fell for the "le radical centrist" meme back when the horseshoe theory nonsense was first getting popular and I thought far left was synonymous with "SJW"
I'd say that both sexes have legit problems and its situational and subjective who has it worse, at least in most developed countries. I generally dislike modern feminism because it tends to treat both sexes as monoliths instead of individuals, while being needlessly hostile and accusatory towards men for things they've personally never done. I also dislike how they often treat women as being purely reactive to the actions of men, which implies a lack of agency.
Additionally, as I said before, issues of gender inequality should generally be addressed by solving the class issues that cause them rather than trying to treat symptoms. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to someone who refers to themselves as a feminist instead of automatically assuming they're some rabid SJW, but I would consider myself to be an egalitarian rather than feminist.
Yes and yes.
So did I earn enough Oppression Points to make up for my horrible, problematic stances on idpol, Tumblr-senpai?
I’m not straight I’m bi, I was never a Holla Forumsfag, I do think that women are worse off than men and in general I support anti-racist and anti-sexist causes, I simply support them from a race/gender abolitionist standpoint as well as a Marxist standpoint.
Nico-nico-neck yourself libshit.
Oh and I do have a gf.
Pretty much, excpet I'm half yellow
No.
I have my own special brand of mild idpol
Never. I had a phase when I toyed with nazi aesthetics, never agreed ideologically speaking I just had a fuck load of money to spend and bought some uniforms and badges
I don't think femminism is bad unless it muds class struggle
Never watched, not interested
No
