Go to big state college because i want to become a PA

If universities are supposed to be teaching Marxism, they're doing a really really bad job of it.

Marxists getting absorbed into the academy was the worst error marxists have made, that it was digested and now exists to provide big words to make retarded shit sound more impressive is a sad fate indeed. Anarchists, Leftcoms, and various other Marxists who stayed away were right to do so.

rightists think that neolib idpol is marxism because they're americans who think democrats are the far left

It just solidifies the theory that neoliberalism is the dominant force in all of education (at least in the US) and cannot be challenged. I'm amazed that not one of the courses available even HINT at addressing classism or anything actually leftist.

there's a Turning Point USA (TM), lolbertarian, and Young Republicans club at my school, and of course a Democrat club. This is weird as fuck.

they think paying taxes for roads & infrastructure is socialism so I have no doubt that this is actually the case.

The only way that could be funnier is if burgers had classes about McDonald's.
If commies are supposed to be against cultural marxism they're doing a really really bad job of showing it.
Cultural Marxism aims to attack the culture side, not the economic side anyway.

idk how i can be against something that doesn't exist
But if Cultural Marxism were a real thing I'd be for it
Also, intersectionality is not Marxism. Marxism cannot be separated from economic theory as everything about Marxism has to do with the relations of production. Dumb id/pol/er.

take your meds

Which is retarded if you understand Marx at all

What the hell do you clowns even think "Cultural Marxism" IS?

Okay but can you guys start calling it something else because it has literally nothing to do with Marx or leftism for that matter, thanks

But they do.

You're all ganging up on this guy, but he's right about this part:
Just look at any of the left-wing subreddits on reddit.

Yep, if the average Holla Forumsster (hell, if the average amerifat) saw this they'd scratch their heads at OP calling out the lack of Marxist study

I feel like it's a bipartisan statement to say that universities are really just falling the fuck apart. I mean, I went to one and graduated, but the whole "education" bit was mostly window-dressing, much like 80% of the things people go to school for.

it's part of spectacular misinformation OP.
Uni's are state apparatus through and through.

This is literally a graduate course for teachers

"Every teacher has to be aware of issues going on in the world and how these can affect what is unfolding in her/his classroom. Teaching within and for global and social justice involves teaching about topics that are often rendered invisible, ignored, silenced and irrelevant. To break through these barriers and bring these “unsafe” or seemingly taboo topics into your classroom invokes some levels of risk and resistance. Consider the following questions and use as a guide for your response:
What are some key topics or concepts that students need to know that are frequently left out?
What topics or concepts do you feel may be too controversial or "risky"? Why?
How should risk be included in what/how you teach?
What are the positives and negatives that may emerge from “risky” teaching?
What are some reasons that teachers may resist "risky" teaching?
How can you address the concerns of those around you?
What if these risky topics were not taught? How would a student's education be affected?"

Kind of silly to think of replying
Being honest about anything (communism, police brutality, etc)
Because it is subversive

This is like a social justice class for prospective teachers. It's just a matter of recuperating everything into cybernetic neoliberialism. The spectacular negation of real life etc.

My Lang professor gave me an article by Žižek to do an analysis on, but maybe that was just dumb luck.

But god damn it they will use (repurposed) Marxist terminology to describe all their idpol-nationalist propaganda. I think "cultural marxist" is actually kind of appropiate, in the same sense as "social darwinist." It has fuck all to do with the original idea other than a pale imitation of the trappings.
