UBI is shit, but FALC is cool as fuck and we should be shilling that like crazy right now as we move into a more automized society.

UBI of course isn't the "solution", but dismissing it out of hand is retarded. Also UBI isn't necessarily porky. Most proposed porky-schemes of UBI are neither universal nor basic, they are just state subsidized precarious work and selling out of the last remainders of the welfare state. To avoid this the left, or at least parts of it, should be prepared to advance an alternative, or rather "real" UBI. Struggling over UBI is important for strategic and hegemonic reasons.
