Norks won't reach the US. Missile defense technology here is much too sophisticated and effective. You'd have to overwhelm the system by firing many multiple ICBMs, which Best Korea doesn't have. This would also bring about massive retaliation and an excuse for the US to invade. America isn't going to be the only superpower, but don't think it's a weak nation.

No, that's not really how these weapons work. you have to get that arc going, that's where ICBMs pick up speed and become basically unstoppable. If you have it just power through the atmosphere it will be so slow that almost any missile defense system could knock it out. Also, the way nuclear weapons work, if you just blow it up, it won't result in a nuclear explosion. You'll just make what amounts to a dirty bomb. This is far less dangerous than what an ICBM is supposed to be.
