Marxism was always "intersectional" and most of the latter 20th Century was expanding Marxism outside of economics. No other theory has spread throughout muh oppressed peoples likes Marxism.

Intersectional Theory as it is today is a retreat from Marxism because yes class is still central. The proletariat is defined by what it doesn't have, private property, not what it does have (black skin, a vagina, more chromosomes etc.).
