TFW My Friend Is A Literal Social Darwinist Retard

I've been arguing off an on with my (extremely pro-capitalist, sjw, liberal, neo pagan, psychic/dream powers, wiccan, 'radical centrist,' panreligious, bisexual) "friend" for a long time, I've mentioned it here before. The one who made a fucking love potion, and has ranted about how not remembering the names of women in porn is "rape-y."

I've finally got to the point where I feel very confident & articulate in my leftist views, and in the process of 'debating' him, he literal explains himself as a fucking 'meritist,' that he's literally a social darwinist, that the current system is perfect but just needs less racism & sexism, and that humanity is made up of a few "superior" men who will - through genius and ability - get their way to the top, and "inferior" men who deserve to suffer in some way.

All this time I thought maybe it was my own inability to get my thoughts clear, now I realize he was fucking hopeless the whole time. It pains me, dude's been my friend since we were in first grade, but his warped mentality & rants are starting to get to me. I need to share the load comrades (heh).

I mean tbh tho if I were you the first time he even brings up capitalism being a meritocracy, bring up Paris Hilton (or if you're not a burger your countries equivalent to her). Remind him that Paris Hilton, by metrics of capitalism, is more successful than medical doctors and Biomedical scientists. Remind him that our society does NOT reward true success and innovation, it reward those who pursue profit the most efficiently, and that those two thing don't always necessarily align. Remind him that the incredibly important scientist Nikolai Tesla died in poverty despite revolutionizing electrical science and technology

The issue is I've confront him on this. Mentioned repeatedly how much worker's toil, and how their labor is what builds society materially. Despite all this, he thinks the "superior" men/women don't just work hard and have talent/genius, but find ways to be more "efficient," i.e. do as little work as possible while getting much farther ahead. So in his mindset, a bourgie who sits around doing nothing all day while making bucket-loads of profit "earned it" through the sheer nature of the fact that he's doing so. He's "gotten ahead."

Yeah.

Might I add, he also feels pretty assured that he could get into MENSA, that he'll win a Nobel Prize before he dies, (he's going into "bioinfomatics" or some such shit) and that the majority of the other people in his high-level classes are "morons" and "inferiors." He's gone full out Sociopathic-Randian in as many words.
