He brings up how he feels post war Germany’s failures in demilitarization, diplomacy, political instability, and rise of hitler all stem from the failure to destory prussia as a political, geographic, and social idea. He sees Prussia society as representing every flaw in German culture. He sees their obsession with military glory as nothing more than a recipe for disaster. He advocates for a massive cut in the German military as a way to keep peace and destroy Prussian aggression.

He hates mass industry in general. He wrote on how all mass industry, landowners, and investors are the result of Prussian politics and economic interests.

That is true. His idea of Confederation was more of a cooperative movement than a pan volkisch movement he feels that the petty differances between European nations are pointless as he feels that they do nothing more than create reasons for conflict. He also said that after thousands of yesrs of western history Europe, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Australia etc were simply extensions of Western culture. He hates the idea that a Frenchman and a German would look at each other not as a people who share a common history and future but as distant people seperated by borders that don't reflect language, regional history, and ideas.

I believe it was written in 1940. I think his Bavarian orgins had a good amount to do with it but I think most of it is pure hatred for what he sees as internal imperialism by a culture/political force that wants only military and economic dominance

He hates the war. He sees it as pointless bloodshead and a act of German imperialism against the rest of Europe. He laments at how German kids are going to die for the war machine and how the innocent Poles and Czechs are slaughtered simply to satisfy the German elites.

Then why the hell did he ever join the NSDAP? They were quite open about the Lebensraum and Drang nach Osten policies they were quick to enact once in power. It makes no sense to join a party of war-mongering, Jew-baiting thugs if you think of yourself as an anti-racist pacifist.

Basically he was a SPD member for a while but didn't see it going anywhere. He took part in the resistance against the Kapp putsch but after that he saw the SPD as being too reformist. Around this time he met a Communist named Grigory Zinoviev who shared simliar interests with him. After going to a shit ton of meetings of conservatives, socialists, nationalists, communists he became staunchly set in his ideas that would cause conflict within NSDAP .His brother was like hey come check out this Not SocialisT party and Otto was like why not. Otto hated a lot of people and didn't agree with a lot of NSDAPs plans but he was so ingrained into through his brother he felt it wouod be better to try and fix NSDAP. He ended up stsrting a lot of shit when he began criticizing NSDAPs anti semitism, support for private property, and it's lack of support for striking German workers. He also was against their privitization of the banks and factories, he wanted them to be run by democraticly elected managers who were voted in through councils of veteran workers of a certain trade.

In 1930 the trade Unions in Saxony went on strike and Otto came out in full suppprt and it pissed the fuck out of NSDAP

This book looks fishy as fuck. The author has no credentials in history (he's a professor of economy) and the publishing house mostly deal with crass antisemitic conspiracy theories (solargeneral.org).
