Just put on a pirated hollywood movie "The East" (2013) starring Brit Marling where main plot was about some alphabet agency woman trying to infiltrate an ecoterrorist "anarchist" group. I had to close the movie after 25 minutes out of sheer cringe because they painted this group as some insane anprim cult with crazy rituals. Some time back I also watched "The Nerve" (2016) starring Emma Roberts where they features some "le anonymoose xD expect us :DD" group they painted as violent retards with Holla Forums-tier hivemind.
Why do they gotta always pull this shit in the Hollywood, as if all political extremists are some edgy violent LARPers? I think there is a reason why "Der Untergang" (2014) is such a good movie - say what you will, but at least they picture nazis somewhat accurately, even with their retardedness, they paint them as human beings at least. Why can't they do the same with anarchists and hacker groups? I know they are super estranged and all, but why can't they at least TRY to paint them as having any passion for politics at all, besides painting them 100% as a larp group?
I'm so fucking mad because I know now I am gonna get accused of watching Hollywood movies and probably banned from being a liberal. I'm kind of a brainlet, I sometimes try to get into more avant-garde stuff like some 70's french black-and-white movie I saw from youtube but it was too obscure for me still, in a sense that I couldn't tell if that stuff was sincere or meant to be enjoyed from few layers of irony. You do make a point though.

i unironically recommend watching it. it's shocking and disgusting, but not the meme kind of shocking as a value by itself. when i watched it i saw it as a parable of the dehumanization of humanity in fascism, which is the locial end of capitalism. dunno if this makes any sense. watching this movies is not a pleasant experience at all. anyway i recommend it.
