When I was a kid, the kids around me were super worried about faggots. No one gave a fuck about trans people - not because they didn't know about them, but because "a woman trapped inside of a man" is ultimately more romantic and easier for a lot of people to sympathize with than just a boy who might be peeking at you in the locker room. Gays? Gross men who fuck men and maybe you! Bisexuals? Filthy cheaters.

To me, it always seemed normal, or at least accepted, and it was my belief that anyone ought to be able to swap sexes as best as surgically possible if it was really what they wanted. Of course, this was before I was taking dysphoria into account, so the question of whether such procedures should be paid out of pocket or not wasn't really something I was concerned about.

The idea of "normalizing" it is alien to me. In the years that it's been declared "the new frontier" or whatever, it just seems like all these massive, gigantic fucking retards came out of whatever hole they were living in that didn't have so much as access to Jerry Springer, and were completely shocked that trans people even existed. I was raised in the south - kids said lots of racist shit, lots of homophobic shit… teachers, too… but it was still amazing seeing all these people come out treating this like it was some sort of humorous novelty or appalling new moral threat and the media itself barely being able to grasp trans issues in any competent way. It was like watching toddlers being taught how to play with blocks by an overzealous teacher who somehow still managed to get blocks wrong.

And then, there was the retarded-ass "clash" between gays and transgender people - stoked with what were often outright lies. It was not a thing, and then all these trans people thought ze gays hated them, and then the gays thought they were supposed to hate trannies even if they didn't before, and so on and so on. And of course Catelyn Jenner being totally beloved by liberal idpol idiots and then proceeding to throw gays under the car (driven by a separate, but no less shitty Catelyn Jenner) didn't help matters either.

So it is normal, I don't give a fuck, and the bathroom laws are retarded but so is the responding push for anyone who so much as identifies as a gender to be able to use that gender's bathroom. First off, most of the time up 'til now nothing was really stopping them anyway. Secondly, I don't give a shit about "passing," but the idea that they're all just transgender and someone who keeps it internal should be seen as exactly equivalent to someone on hormones or undergoing surgery… it's kind of forgetting the line between sex and gender, which is actually extremely relevant. It seems dishonest to just ignore it.

Fuck this bullshit. Social decadence is real and I refuse to be associated with people like this nor with people who refuse to acknowledge the downsides of decadence.

Some people are just born as the wrong gender/species. Thankfully, advances in modern medical science is able to correct nature's mistakes via reconstructive surgery. Our goal should be to educate people early on and inform them of their options. That way they can make the transition before they become fully grown into the wrong body.

But if someone actually has a sex-change operation and lives that way, in a lot of cases you'd come off as being more delusional because in all respects but genes. And biologists themselves seem excited about the slowly emerging research that's accumulating on the biological causes of transsexuality, so it's really not as though we're looking at something that exists outside the realm of biologically determined sex - we can call it a "glitch," but that doesn't really mean anything or determine how we address it.
