Are you guys sensing that something big is coming? Surely I can't be the only one? I have this great and intense fear in my heart that something catastrophic is just around the corner, and I can't seem to shake it off. The last time I felt like this was before September 11. I know you guys have been feeling like this as well, I can tell by the content of your posts. Remember that animals are able to sense a disaster is looming before it happens and humans also have this ability but for some of us the feeling is being drowned by all the noise and distractions.

Let's talk about it, guys. What do you feel is coming?

This is a serious thread not some /x/ bullshit, dude. WTF.

I know for a fact that I'm not the only one experiencing these feelings, so many people I interact with in real life also have this uneasiness.

It isn't some sixth sense.

There are objectively very tense geopolitical and global economic situations happening. This puts anyone with a brain on edge.

The only thing which has really started to worry me more than I already am about surveillance and the police state's love for cracking down on leftists is that one post about fascists stocking up weapons caches around the USA. This is the kind of thing which happened before the Rwandan Genocide.
Was that guy able to back up his claims?
I'm definitely not a "feels" kind of guy, but I get what you're saying. There is a certain unease in the Trump age which wasn't there in the Obama administration. It's funny because Trump's one of the least of our worries relative to what issues are there or emerging.

socialism or barbarism isnt just a slogan anymore, its a choice

you are spooked up the wazoo

Yeah, my dick.

it's your desires speaking.
you want something big to happen, so you can feel important. you think it will "unlock" some superhero within you, you want to go and save people during some crisis and be praised for it because you know in your daily life you'll only be a mediocre asshole like billions of others and never amount to anything.

That\s not what "spooked" means.

Nigga hundreds of thousands of people sensed something was coming before 9/11. Read Dean Radin's book Entangled Minds for scientific proof. Shit is no joke son. SOMETHING IS COMING. STOP DENYING IT. LETS DISCUSS WHAT IS COMING.

nothing's coming. 5 years from now we'll be exactly where we are now, and still there 5 years after that, and on and on. we're locked in a cycle from which most of us wants no escape, and which society's rulers wants to perpetuate indefinitely

This guy gets it.

Fuck off with your armchair psychology

I don't think anything big is coming, even racial tensions on an interpersonal level seem low compared to the BLM glorious uprisings of 2015 and 2016.

fuck off with your "I'm so psychic guys" thread

Six sense is somewhat real. Read Entangled Minds, nigga. educate yourself

Hopefully an economic collapse.

If thats what you got out of this thread then you're a retard

Goddam I hate you close-minded faggots so much

...

Fuck off with your bourgeois idealism.

very likely, also extreme weather patterns like nothing before as well.

The start of new world conflict I feel is very likely as well, every single President has been involved in some kind of new war, and Trump will be no different, the deep state have basically set it up so a war is going to be the only way that Trump can survive through his first term and bring the country together. Wars are also great distractions which is what he needs.

fuck you, dude

The world is about to reset

While the annual cost of natural disasters is increasing over time, if you adjust for growth of global gdp, the cost is actually shrinking slightly.
al gore is full of shit

wow that'll shake things up
i.e. empty spectacle that changed nothing
i.e. empty spectacle that changed nothing
"wars" meaning minor conflicts in third world countries that affect neither the general populace or the centres of power in the west
i.e. idiots who think 'socialism' means police and post offices
the president is not a dictator and not a god. most of what presidents say publicly is pure theatre

what

t. exxon shill

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

US government will reveal their contact and cover-up of aliens or it will be a huge leak of info on the subject this may result in a false-flag "alien invasion" scenario as a last ditch effort to cling to power. The aliens may say fuck it to the world governments and reveal themselves to the common people instead ushering in a new age. /Posadist

Evacuate to the space comrades when?

More flooding

It's even worse for a teen still under the jurisdiction of parents (I'm not actually confirming that this is me)

Not being able to make purchases, or move, etc. etc. is shit when you're fearing an oncoming attack from reactionaries.

Hurricane Irma might be that disaster

This
You don't need to be a fucking jedi that senses a disturbance in the force to know we live in dangerous times

Its not too much better on your own, I'm too poor and tired to do anything major so I end up mostly just end up trying to learn shit off pdfs and youtube videos. Just go full armchair and hit the books little nigga.
I've been really feeling something is coming too. May sounds crazy but I expect something to happen September twenty third when Virgo aligns with Leo. I expect an economic collapse, a major false flag attack leading to war, a civil war, or maybe even ayy lmaos. Trying to prep best I can but I'm also not really sure how to prepare for this sort of thing. Just practicing basic survival shit, reading theory, meditating, and exercising atm.

We're getting close, my dude. The next crisis is close and people won't take another Wall Street bailout or equivalent. The economy won't be able to take it either. Hell, this summer and past Christmas season had much lower retail sales than usual. Capitalism is starting to fail to reproduce itself, thanks in large part to America's bullheaded refusal to mediate the contradictions with social democracy. People are getting desperate and turning to the far right or the left (a majority of millennials polled say we oppose capitalism). Rapid concentration of wealth through hyperindustrialization and monopolies via Amazon and the like are causing once livable jobs to dry up. Jeff Bezos is now on Trump's war council too btw. The American Empire is gearing up for more war (possibly WW3); the writing is on every wall of the mainstream media, and Americans are by and large fucking sick of it.

The US is desperate, and when we go so will our global military hegemony. Hopefully everyone else will cope with the transition better than we will. We're going to balkanize and turn to some kind of neo-feudalism.

You're sensing the social anxiety building in people that know things are fucked and believe that everything is out of their control.

It's the irrational panic of having no idea what to expect of a system that does its best to obfuscate itself from view and no means to prepare for what will happen even if you knew what was coming. Instead of concrete possibilities (drought, flood, &c, the predictable catastrophes of previous societies), instead there are unforeseeable (at the ground level) events like economic collapse, or emergent instances of infrastructure just suddenly breaking down, these sorts of things happening out of processes and systems that they aren't even aware of, much less understand.

For the most part, in previous centuries, disasters were a known quantity, more or less. Farmers would know that in any given year, the weather varies, bringing surplus or famine, that feudal warfare could break out, etc. Unforeseen future disaster events are always a possibility, but the anxiety of not knowing can be managed by preparing beforehand. By finding a place to hide your family in the case of invasion, or preserving and storing surplus food in case of lean years, or having a stockpile of herbs and remedies in case of the outbreak of disease, etc.

But now though, society is threatened by unnatural and unintuitive disasters that average people are precluded from understanding. Chucklefucks come through Holla Forums and accuse Communists of being obscurantist, but the absolute kings of that shit are economists and other financial theorists and profiteurs. The various financial commodities, tax schemes, and other economic chicanery require absolutely byzantine design for a number of reasons. One, is that the more complex it is, the more middlemen are required, and the more money is made. Another is that if the system in question were understandable in its totality by the average person, these financiers would be lined up at the guillotines before lunchtime.

Take something like this for example:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_Sandwich

For the average person, this sort of arrangement flies right in the face of common sense. The idea of setting up a "shell family" or "shell household" in another region with better tax rates etc for the average person would be absurd. It's something the wealthy have a familiarity going back millennia, however. This isn't even the most egregious example of this kind of "Hollywood Accounting."

It's impossible to guess what might happen. Because of the lack of concrete fears and plans to deal with them, there's just a generalized anxiety that is being kept at a constant simmer by things like corporate media. Without any kind of relief or mechanism for dealing with this constant agitation, the pressure is just going to keep building until it spontaneously bursts out.

Well, I kinda think Trump will be a "war president" - ie secure his second term by invading somebody. The actual biggest issues that kept me against him (net neutrality and his promise to bring back expired Patriot Act parts) are already in the works as far as I know.

Of course it's coming. Last October all the big banks warned of another recession happening in the next year. Said big banks are even bigger and more consolidated than before this time, while the "recovery" from 2008 has only happened for the top 5%.

Yeah, something is probably coming
Hopefully nuclear war

...

9/11 was an event that a lot of us knew was in the post but were still shocked that it happened. Same with the credit crunch and the GFC.
I can see some big things happening in Belgium, Sweden and Italy where people are getting rather pissed off with the immigration. In Italy it's not so bad but they have had economic problems for 25 years so the people's tolerance levels are at rock bottom.
The collapse of the House of Saud could happen any time in the next 50 years, but if it happened tomorrow it wouldn't surprise me.
Nukes? Yep, I can see the US and Israel letting off nukes, probably at Pakistan actually, but it wouldn't surprise me if Trump decides nuking NK is a good idea.
